  • what's the yellow thing for ?

  • @MisterTNoob It represents the top of your sword and also holds the tip in place

  • I was just cutting down bamboo and i found this perfect piece of bamboo to use for this.

I can just add a handle.

Its nice and hard and can most likely be a great defense.

  • I winced at the sight of the silica gel bag (0:32) attached under the tsuru!

I think THIS shinai isn't useable for a safe kendo!

Presumably the bamboo is already dried up and has no flexibility at all.

    Only good for suburi. ;)

  • actually they`re moth bolls, i bought the same model just this day and it seems fine but then again i really have no experience when it comes ro theses things

  • @mmexus oil the thing...dont they teach you guys anything?

  • 15 bucks little tokyo

  • some one told me that bambo swords are eligle in usa

  • @metalsky851 on an airplane?...perhaps...but they are a common sight in a Kendo class

  • @metalsky851 that is a negative.

  • @metalsky851 Well guess what, the 500-something kendo dojos in the USA say no to that.

  • thats prety kool i guess
