Got the same car with the same esc and motor.Your running that with a Nimh wow what is it like on lipo

Couple things. First, Awesome truck. T3's a solid platform to modify.

If you keep it on dirt or grass, you'll abuse the truck less. Then you can really let it run. Pavement is, frankly, not a stadium truck's best arena.

Third, be a little less squirrely on the throttle and you'll keep it under control. Also, investing in a wide wheelie bar might help. Integy doesn't make a LT of good stuff, but their wheelie bars are pretty damn good.

@jaws99099 Haha yeah, it actually slipped too much when I first installed the Mamba, so I tightened it up quite a bit. More snappy, but it cost me a spur. Live and learn :)

@l33tkawasaki I kept my old 12/2 motor and installed some lipo packs and the T3 is fast enough for me prob about 30-40 mph. I love my 11 year old T3 because it won't break.

that truck was never meant for a motor like that. That's why you're stripping spurs and can't keep the truck on its tires. You could've got a Traxxas Slash 4x4 Ultimate edition short course truck for what you spent and it would've come with the brushless motor and can handle a setup like that.

@JailhouseRN There's no fun in anything unless it's overpowered! Besides, the 4x4 slash didn't exist in 2005 when I got the truck. I also had a emaxx and revo so I didn't need another slow 4x4.

@l33tkawasaki Well, I do agree with your there about the fun part. But you might wanna look again into the new Slash 4x4 Ultimate. It's definitely NOT a "slow 4x4" They come standard with a brushless system and do about 45-50+mph out of the box stock...with a few mods you can get 80mph out of them. I know about the T3 also. I still have one that I love! Prolly the best truck Associated ever built!

if you want to prevent striping ur spurgear try loosening ur slipperclutch for where it slips for about a foot thats how i stripped mine last time it was too tight

You should check and see if the T4's diff. will work in the T3.

I just installed my Mamba 7700Kv Max Pro into my T3 with a 2s 5000 Lipo. The aftermarket wheelie bar makes it much easier to handle.

Hehe I soldered an extention on to my ESC so it can support an extra battery support x2 4500Mah 7.2VNimh batteries. It's kind of overpowering but u wouldn't beleive the performance I get out of it

His slipper is probably all the the way tightened down a stock t4 can do the same by tightening the slipper (I do not recomend this) youll just blow the diff

im having all kinds of trouble with my differintal not locking in it just slips and wont move.. it all tight ...
