  • Clockwise is too mainstream.

  • @artsmith1972 Coffee has more discernible flavours to the palate than wine does. Have you any idea how much science goes into the production of wine? Then why should we not spend as much time and effort attempting to get brew ratios correct for a good coffee?

  • You rinse the filter to get rid of any bad tastes? You rinsed it right into where your coffee is going bro.

  • no offense- but WAY TOO technical... its a fuckin cup of coffee already- not a science project... No way i'm measuring grams of coffee and water- just make that shit STRONG and be done with it already....

  • @artsmith1972 dont go looking at cold brewing then. you'd go insane waiting for a coffee. coffee/tea when brewed properly to their fullest potential are art-forms or rituals. its all about ratios degree's minutes seconds grams and ml's very "sciencey" stuff.

  • You should take out your filter and throw it in the compost hippster man!

  • Kyle - you should be composting your filter and coffee!!!! Don't throw it away!!!!

  • @stephstehrbrown Get a life.

  • ONLY counter-clockwise motion.

  • Is there anybody know where I could buy the kettle like yours?

  • @jidee38 Hey, it's ~$50 maybe more and it's called the Hario Buono. You can buy it on ebay or something.

  • @jidee38 barismo sells them, i recommend the kettle gicleur they sell for $4 as well..slows the water down

  • @renix Thanks for your info. btw, where's barismo?

  • @jidee38 Boston area

  • @renix Boston!! omg, I'm in Bangkok, Thailand. Thanks anyways ^_^

  • @jidee38 You're a lot closer to Hario Japan than I am!

  • @renix Finally I found and bought it in Bangkok. Thank you ^_^

  • @jidee38 can buy online so that doesn't matter

  • @renix I've never bought anything online. And I could buy it in Bkk actually but because of floods crisis, so it's a quite difficult to go and buy it.

  • Isn't the scale unnecessary? It should be easy enough to determine 415g of water according to volume.

  • @mdboop You're absolutely right. The only thing about the scale is that it's very fast feedback, so you can just watch while you pour without using volume measuring equipment. 1g of water is 1mL. I use volume, but as soon as I get a better scale i'll be using this method, as there are fewer steps.
