@mrtwangybass I'm not trying to change my son's style.He actually likes most of the clothes I buy for him.I usually get him dress shirts or t-shirts of his favorite bands.He usually gets dark shirts because light shirts get stained when he works on cars.I would never buy him pink or bright yellow shirts.That's not his style.

@ThornWWhite sorry i dont know where i got father from and i took what comments i saw out of context i thought you were concerned about his wardrobe being comprised of mostly dark clothes and were watching a mood change in said son even though its not the case, had it been i was encouraging you to go with your instincts and maybe not confront the issue head on rather just be there to guide and not direct and if you were met with resistance to know you are doing him a service

@TJthejoker127 Thank you for standing up for me.I feel as his mother that I should be there to guide him.I was concerned about his state of mind more than his fashion sense.I told him I will be here to help him if he needs me.I'm happy to say that he is wearing lighter shirts & is talking to me about his troubles,which I'm glad to listen to.I know the only way to resolve your problems is to talk about them.lf you can't release the stress you can't fix what is wrong in your life.
