wondering what workouts do "you" do for lower back? I am a gym "junky" I guess you can say, however I like to use your workouts and techniques in the gym. And lower back is the only thing I can seem to find you doing.
If I can only do one or two pullups, do you suggest doing the assisted pullup machine where I rest my knees on a pad that pushes some weight upwards to help me do more, or just crank out the 1-2 I can do?

UGH. Scooby please don't support this supine=chin prone=pull movement. It's baseless. They're all pull ups and we should just describe the grip (neutral/prone/supine). "Chin" should refer if we touch the chin to the bar or get it over the bar or something like that. I personally think touch because if you get the chin over the bar we can call it a neck-up since the neck touches.

This is why I only do lat pulldowns in front, never behind my head. I feel like it puts too much tension on my shoulders and could lead to injury especially at higher weight.
Could anyone help? When i lower my weights, i keep getting a clicking feeling under my right arm, just by my arm pit. It feels like a nerve is rubbing against my muscle or another nerve and i find it really hard to workout with it. Anyone know what it could be?

@MyTubeVersion3 I think that he should wait until he's back on a regular eating schedule, the nutrients food provides helps the body run at 100%, if he has some way to intake the nutrients and still manage to function without getting dizzy or light headed etc... then i don't see why he couldn't. Wrong, Dorian Yates says chinups works more lats, lats are bigger then biceps....thats why so easy. I do only chinups, they pump my lats much more then pullups. Gorilla chinups work lats most.

Great vid....something that I work on regularly (i love pullups). Widen your grip too....that makes it harder to get your biceps involved by pulling the elbows forward.
And then do all variations! Wide, normal, narrow, weighted, bodyweight, supported (for high reps!)....nothing is out of bounds (apart from bad form :-))

Just a quick question. When you say that you do high rep workouts for 3 weeks and low rep workouts for one week, what do you mean by high rep workouts? As in, how many reps do you do for low rep workouts and how many reps do you do for high rep workouts?
Just wanted to point out that the reason underhand chinups are easier than wide grip pullups is NOT because they utilise the biceps more (which is such a small muscle anyway) but because it activates more of ur lats. Underhand pulling is in fact superior for developing thickness throughout the lats weather it be vertical or horizontal pulling. This cannot be debated as its simple physiology. However thats not to say that u shouldnt include widegrip overhand movents as they're great for width.
excellent. i have a question though. i';m trying to get as much protein as i can without having to hit the powders or shakes so what i usuallly get is this :one 8oz cup of organic skim milk with can of tuna (32 grams total) then later i WILL have a metrix bar at work (another 32 grams) then i'll have a can of goya beans strained and rinsed(24 grams), and i recently foudn they sell chicken breast in a can at cosco which is 46 grams so question is, is it really all protein or fake meat?
I have a couple of questions related to you cardio video, It wouldn't let me post any on there, so I thought I'd try here.
1. Are you saying it doesn't matter what activity you are doing as long as your BPM is in the target range even if you are just watching a scary movie, thats good cardio?
2. Is it necessary to burn more calories then you consume to lose weight... As I consume about 2000 a day and burn about 500 in my workouts.... does this mean I'm gonna get fatter and fatter...
@wade2thehamilton your body needs the 2000 calories to survive everyday for example to keep warm or stay cool,tbh if you're a man 2000 isn't enough for you! you will put on weight if you consume more calories than your body needs on a daily basis
when i do push ups i have my hands pretty far apart and my lats were killing at first, now i get no pain and have increased the reps. my question is, if i continue doing them this way, am I ONLY giving benefit to that one area and NOT the chest/arms?

scooby, after looking at the workouts on your side, i decided to sue the intermediate workout plan. You wrote there that it is for people who can do 3 pushups and 1 pullup. how is kipping dangerous? good core recruitment and also helps knock out a few extras. i'm guessing you're going to mention stress on the shoulders? not if you do it correctly. there is a difference between kipping and "flailing /kicking" that you mentioned.

But I would assume to him, high reps, 12-15, low reps, 4-6, maybe 4-8.

According to you, what is a best exercise for low-abs? can you show me the link to that exercise?

excellent. i have a question though. i';m trying to get as much protein as i can without having to hit the powders or shakes so what i usuallly get is this :one 8oz cup of organic skim milk with can of tuna (32 grams total) then later i WILL have a metrix bar at work (another 32 grams) then i'll have a can of goya beans strained and rinsed(24 grams), and i recently foudn they sell chicken breast in a can at cosco which is 46 grams so question is, is it really all protein or fake meat?

I have a couple of questions related to you cardio video, It wouldn't let me post any on there, so I thought I'd try here.
1. Are you saying it doesn't matter what activity you are doing as long as your BPM is in the target range even if you are just watching a scary movie, thats good cardio?
2. Is it necessary to burn more calories then you consume to lose weight... As I consume about 2000 a day and burn about 500 in my workouts.... does this mean I'm gonna get fatter and fatter...

@wade2thehamilton your body needs the 2000 calories to survive everyday for example to keep warm or stay cool,tbh if you're a man 2000 isn't enough for you! you will put on weight if you consume more calories than your body needs on a daily basis

when i do push ups i have my hands pretty far apart and my lats were killing at first, now i get no pain and have increased the reps. my question is, if i continue doing them this way, am I ONLY giving benefit to that one area and NOT the chest/arms?

scooby, after looking at the workouts on your side, i decided to sue the intermediate workout plan. You wrote there that it is for people who can do 3 pushups and 1 pullup. I took a look on the exercises and there you wrote "pushups: number of reps 8-15", same with pullups. Im not very good at english, so could you explain to me what's wrong with that?

how is kipping dangerous? good core recruitment and also helps knock out a few extras. i'm guessing you're going to mention stress on the shoulders? not if you do it correctly. there is a difference between kipping and "flailing /kicking" that you mentioned.
