Ninja Theory killed DMC, The person that created "Devil May Cry" originally, Hideki Kamiya said Dante was "Too cool to smoke" apparently Ninja Theory thought other wise, and also DMC NOW stands for "Dumb Move Capcom" because it's kind (Mostly Actually) of true. And this is a Prequel as I've heard.

Capcom you've gotta stop doing this to us fans you're making me die inside a little every day. T_T Marvel vs Capcom 3 is still one of your best works though :D

i heard this is young dante like in the comic book. his hair is black because he didnt know who he was cuz of his silver hairm which is why he dyed it black to be 'normal' but hes not normal or something.

i agree with those theories. it would depend if whether or not vergil shows up (because in dmc 3 dante does make reference to the fact that he and vergil worked together b4 dmc 3). and i do agree witht the sword thing. maybe that was either one of his first weapons b4 coming across stinger or just one of stinger's forms idk but just saying
