One of the best vacations I ever had with my wife was in SF. What a wonderful city. Nothing but fun. And if you get the chance, drive up to Sacremento and visit the Train Museum. It will blow you away! Real trains from diffeent periods of our lives here in American, some acutally move while you're in them!!

I had a similar experience as mmlight. However, I tried to focus on the other more positive surroundings. Cable cars, unique architecture and colors, city tours, and helicopter ride under and over Golden Gate Bridge. Wonderful.
