Ive been there its not all that attractive unless you call seeing homeless people sleeping in the streets attracive, or feces on the sidewalks and urine soaked sidewalks everywhere. Theress a lot of men wearing dresses and women wearing pants. but other than that it has a sort of charm. BEWARE OF THE BEDBUGS!! there every where in the city.
@veeseee128 A lot of homeless like all over the States but also beautiful and some great architecture. Great charm. Never had bed bugs in all my trips there but have had them on my one trip to Hawaii.
@veeseee128: actually the homeless situation is a general problem for California as a whole.
However the homeless in San Francisco and Los Angeles (more on LA in a bit) seem to be "further down the 'skid' scale" than the homeless in other CA towns.
Think the "homeless" situation is bad in San Francisco?...... wait to you see the "homeless" situation in Downtown Los Angeles!!
It's a shame that San Fransisco has been taken over by the radical, left wing, liberal, shitbags that want to see America go down the fucking toilet !!! Why is it that so many normal, TRUE, decent Americans would love to visit and vacation in San Fransisco and enjoy the city, but WON'T becauce of shitbag, lowlife, anti-American scum that infest there ?!!! Dosen't take much of a genius to figure that out !!! Same goes for other major cities in California !!!!
@e081194eng: since YOU've never been within thousands of miles of San Francisco, let alone California, how do you know anything about it...... OHHH! that's right you get YOUr information from masturbating to SCUM limbaugh...........
man i really enjooyed the video, this was good for me to see since im going to the university out there in san fransico next year, so this just gets me excited to go there
Im from the bay area and go to school in tucson arizona and this really made me miss home. this is an awesome video! it really captured the essence of san francisco
Hi. I live in San Francisco in the Castro neighborhood. Glad you enjoyed your visit here and I enjoyed watching your video of your visit. I also enjoyed your video tour of Berlin. Haven't been there yet but want to go. I also want to visit your home of Sydney. I have heard so many wonderful things about it and can't wait to visit it sometime.
I lived in The Tenderloin and SOMA four times in my life - '89/'99/'04/'05. A tough-boiled place, but the prettiest small city I know (Sydney comes close, but it is large). I love July/August, because it is so cold! (normal for you Aussies).
Thanks for Posting Kensington25! I'm going to San Francisco in September (from my home in Sydney) and this has given me a good insight in to the place! I've never been to the States, and can't wait! I have been to London and Kensington a few time though (but prefer Bayswater/Notting Hill to Kensington haha!). Cheers
i'm looking forward to visiting SF in the near future; to bad the beautiful city doesn't have to great a future to look forward to. the mayor/staff have not taken steps to prepare/protect the city from the next quake. the beautiful city will succumb to the forces, then burn to the ground.
someone commented in this column that LA rocks; you're so right...the next big quake will certainly rock LA to it's foundation, then it will also burn.
please enjoy these beautiful cities before they die.
Hey thanks for the video, I have just been to san fran but didn't get a chance to visit alcatraz, so it was cool to see even if it was on video, I did see the golden gate bridge tho, amazing structure
im from san francisco!!!

bahahahaha!!!! noopeeee....NYC, Isane Empire, LOS ANGELES are the best cities!!!
BlaccMoon23 3 years ago
I've lived in Boston and went to NYC every weekend, although it's great its not the best to live in.
I've lived in LA, everyone who lives there HATE it...
There was a recent poll about American cities and the people who lived there. It asked if they liked the city they lived in and LA ranked the worst.

I live in LA now and I've lived in the Bay Area...San Fran and the whole Bay Area is far superior
