  • Beautiful tutorial, thanks, I just switched to linux 2 months ago and loving it already. thanks again.

  • Have you ever come across this error during the transcoding? "Too many audio packets in the buffer"

I'm getting this all the time.

  • @BlackSunDarkStar I have not but a google search shows a lot of history. Unfortunately, I am know expert at this. Might try using ffmpeg to see what happens.

  • @tryallanderror Thanks, in the end I never resolved it and switched to ffmpeg just as you suggested. Now if only KDEnlive would stop crashing LOL.

  • @BlackSunDarkStar Glad to hear. I agree about kdenlive. I've used it for over a year now and really like the way it works, when it works. Always has been a little unstable.

  • THX SO MUCH!

  • ok thanks - got it sorted out now :)

  • Is it possible to make a reverse of this. I.e. .avi into .ogv?

  • @greenbralumberjack Preferably in Windows Vista...

OggConvert works well at least in Linux. It is in package manager, but also has a windows version.
