Have you ever come across this error during the transcoding? "Too many audio packets in the buffer"
I'm getting this all the time.

@tryallanderror Thanks, in the end I never resolved it and switched to ffmpeg just as you suggested. Now if only KDEnlive would stop crashing LOL.

OggConvert works well at least in Linux. It is in package manager, but also has a windows version.
