Glad to see the car back on the track... Looks like Craigs done with the house where he can enjoy the car! Have you done anything else to the car since you got it from Bill Paul? Wish you guys would've been able to put a deal together for the Shelby as well... it would've been nice to see both cars stay in Wisconsin.
This car has a 4-speed Jerico gearbox (non-sequential). 1st gear is "usable" on the track and makes it sound like it has more than 4 speeds. This car's first gear is like a standard 2nd gear.
This car is actually a 2002 Winston Cup Ford Taurus that now vintage races at Road America (it was originally sponsored by Hooters back when it raced professionally). My guess is the Nationwide guys will run 5-7 seconds faster than this car has run, given the higher bhp and new technology. Should be a great race to watch!

What is that whistling/whining sound that accompanies the engine as it revs? It almost sounds like a supercharger--is it velocity stacks?

@wilsondunlap That is the transmission. The Jerico dog-box makes a lot of noise!

Does that have a 6 speed transmission in it? Sounds like a sequential gearbox, and there's definitely more than 4 speeds.
