I'm at a loss for words. I'm mean, it's one thing to have a song like this in a game like that. But, Dana Plato on vocals? Really? Nothing against that, or her. She actually did an O.K. job. But, still, it's very strange listening to this knowing that she's the one singing.
night trap is a legendary game and i love this its very one of a kind i loved cindy and kelly does somebody knows about cindy whichis truly name tracey matheson?
cant find her please help its important i wanna know more bout her
Love is easy by the light of day You get the boys to play away Thoughts are down when darkness falls Passion burns and danger calls So don't go out if you dare You better be good You better beware NIGHT TRAP! That boy will find you NIGHT TRAP! Watch out behind you NIGHT TRAP! Girls if you driving a ride You'll be caught in the night NIGHT TRAP!
How can this game be considered one of the 20 worst games ever? The format of it is innovative and it fully uses the technology at the time to the best of its ability, because we all know this REAL MOTION VIDEO stuff was over hyped. I think this game set a necessary bench mark for games aimed at more mature audiences, remember the outrage it caused? Only GTA and Manhunt have had such controversy linked to them
I agree with you about the game being better than its reputation. Saying that GTA and Manhunt have had similar controversy sort of misses the mark. We had a US Congressional Hearing over this VIDEO GAME! Insanity!
@ASXEY I can't argue with you there. I DO indeed find this game very unique for its unconventional gameplay elements hence the theme of CCTV simulation. However, I think the slightly cheesy script, acting and music almost killed it...
As much as I like this song for its classic 80s vibe, I don't think it makes a good ending theme for a horror film/game. Nevertheless, a fairly unique and interesting FMV game gem.
Wow! This brings back memories from back in the day. I remember paying 500.00 dollars for the Panasonic 3DO. I had bought probably 10 games for it and one of those games happened to be Night Trap. I played that game like it was going outta style. The whole game has an 80's feel to it even though it was made in '92. I actually like the end title theme song. It gives the game more of an 80's feel.
Actually, this game was made in the 1980's, at least the film scenes. It was originally made for an interactive movie video game system from Hasbro called Nemo which ended up never getting released. I know it was made in the 1980's, because there's a behind-the-scenes featurette called Dangerous Games that came out on the PC version of the game and you can clearly see in the film footage on the film slate that the footage was filmed in July 1987, so you're right about it having a 1980's feel.
God. . .I never played this game, but looking at these videos, I can't believe that this. . .THIS is the game that stirred up the horrendous shit hurricane in Congress back in the early '90s. WTF?
What sites do you go to to play the new FMV games, FMA42081. hassel2000, you are too awesome for this post. Even though the game and song are cheesy, they are very cool. Thanks.

Ah FMV Game's ...For Those Of You Who Are Not In The Know... There is a ever growing Underground resurgence of FMV Games Mostly Online (Games&Movies)...and looks like hollywood is trying to bring it back mainstream with "return to house on haunted hill" with branching story lines on hd-dvd and blu-ray
This is a very good song. It has the same professional sound as Obsession by The Elm Street Group. It is one of the few things about this movie that is good at all. I was even disappointed by Dana Plato's performance. I think the rest of the non-SGA cast rubbed their crappy ways off on her.
The only time I saw Dana show real emotion is when she screams at the player for letting the girl in the purple tupetop die. Everything else was a big NO NO NO.
Well, this game was originally made around 1987 for a interactive movie game system called the Hasbro Nemo, which ultimately never got made, so this game got shelved for several years as a result until the Sega CD was made.

I agree, this was one of the most inspiring games of all time. I loved it, yeah the game play sucked, but that wasn't the point.
