This fookin game rox! I bought it last weekend and been playing the crud out of it since, haven't even fired GT5 or NFS Hot Pursuit back up since putting it in my PS3. Finished the game tonight but still have some collectibles to go back and get and more survival games to finish. This game is mad fun, screw the stupid reviews, go check out the user reviews and you'll see alot of peeps love this game, it's gonna be a cult classic!

this was the bottlerocket version of splatterhouse . u can see that rick wears other shoes , have more muscles , the most stages on this video are not avaible in the namco version and the enemies are changed too . now i can say that this splatterhouse is much better than the namco lincensed splatterhouse . but i love both splatterhouse versions because im a fan of awesome badass games . but i hate that many reviews suck because this game have far more potential than other hack n slay games .

Meh. They didn't keep the same style of horror that the original game had. They went from 80's horror to just Gothic mixed with metal. More like taking the name as an excuse to make a gory game. If I wanted Splatterhouse the remake I would have wanted it to stick with a mansion (not a freaking CASTLE) and make it more controlled (as in you don't appear in the middle ages).

You could say it's nit-picking, but that's 70% of what Splatterhouse was taken out really.

Looks very disappointing. All the processing power of today's machines and programmers still don't get it. Imagine the original Splatterhouse...now...just build on that...just because you have a million colors on your palette an artist does not use them all...that's what has become of all today's games..and in the end the you end up with a muddy brown color....metaphorically speaking.
