Well, it auctually wasn't a sex dream. Go figure. I was walking in the country along a railroad track and an old time steam engine is slowly making its way twords me. I pause and watch the train pass. As it passes, I see Stevie hanging out of a box car, waving to me. She is wearing black lace, naturally, and it flutters in the wind as I run and try to catch up. "Take me with you" I yell, but she can't hear me.....she just waves goodbye. It was a beatuiful yet sad dream.

Hope you're having a sunshiney beautiful day! If FM ever tour again you should go see them, if you have the opportunity. I saw a lot of deadheads at FM concert, what a great scene!!

Yes, I saw them at the Pyramid in Memphis in the late 90's. I was really drunk...I cried to "Songbird" and Mic had an electronic body drum thing that was amazing! Hey there jessenuf! That's cool you saw them in Memphis. I saw them in Cincinnati, I guess it was early to mid 90's. I would say I was pretty buzzed when I saw them. I always cry to "Silver Spring". It IS a genuine church organ-- LOL!!! Stevie says that's there just because she wanted to include the pianist who inspired the opening chords in the song. They're the lady's at the church organ.

Stevie looks so pretty and etheral when she comes on the screen wearing white around 2:10 and I love how low her voice gets when she says "wall" as in 'shadow against the wall' near 2:29. I went to see her four times in 2007 and she was just great I have a video posted of her singing this song in October 2007 at the Rosemont Theater. She sings the shadow against the 'walll part just as low to this day.
