  • que lujo

  • The SL3 is really not that light. Yes it is a great bike, but it definitely would not be noticably lighter than a proteam rider's previous bike.

On a side note, zipp 1080 look ridiculous on a road bike.

  • @sskinner99 yes,the only ones that aren't allowed are those that they use on the back wheel on the tt

  • DOPER

  • @braininahat

    Who?.... Armstrong?

  • @Robrob007 Ele é o melhor do mundo!

  • @braininahat stupid american

  • nice wheels... when there's not too much wind...

  • さすがS-WORKS!!

    かっこいいね

  • he has Bontager sign on his pants...

  • I Want those wheels!!!

  • Bet you that bike feels horrible while he's out of the saddle with those wheels

  • wypad alberto punie jeden

  • Hello - windy day training with aero wheels. maybe something new that Im not aware of - I dont even pull my 1080's out on windy RACE days. to each there own I guess

  • Contador is from spane?

  • @772144 haha - yes he is from SPAIN

  • Italian, Small light and fast just like their cars

  • The bike looks hot with those tubulars

  • so a amazing hot bike.specialized the best!

  • anyone know the highest gear on that bike

  • @AeroChrisMartin 52 x 11 I think

  • you are good a.contodor!!! :D

  • nice wheels :-O

  • ZIPP 1080 without "ZIPP"-Stickers

  • beautiful bike

  • so astana rides specialized now?

  • Lol does he really need such deep rims for a training ride?

  • LA podium 2010?? Haha!

I see this way more possible:

    1-Alberto Contador

    2-Andy Schleck

    3-Luis Leon Sanchez

    4-Carlos Sastre

    5-Samuel Sanchez

  • @plastik85 Your prediction turn out almost perfect. This race was very impressive, espically samuel sanchez crashed BAD made it in 6th over all. VERY IMPRESSIVE.

  • @eal1011 hahah!!..

well samuel was finally 4, much better than i was expecting, but luis leon was 11 and im disapointed about that.. specially being in caisse d'epargne wich is quite strong..

sastre i didnt never really counted with him for GC, i just named him.. for spanish nationalism :D

  • the wheels on that when he's riding are ridiculous for a road bike!

  • @JTMarlin8

Except of course for Greg Bauge, newly crowned match sprint world champion.

  • i think is doping addicted!!

  • Some deep ass rims for a training ride....

Pretty weird to see Alberto riding a Specialized.

  • i liked lance but his time has passed go Contador!!

  • Eh the Tour was boring with Lance and equally as boring with Alberto. At least Lance only tried to win 1 race a year. I respect AC, hes a way better athlete than Lance ever was but destroying everything makes the race boring

At Paris Nice this year, I only cared about who won the stages

Specialized was much better off with QuickStep in my opinion. I'm sure they know the benefits to switching to a team like Astana, especially after the 2 years Boonen had but Quickstep is a fun team to watch

  • @SwedishBeatballs I've NEVER been a Specialized guy, always C'dales and Pinarellos for me. But after seeing Jens (always) powering away on one, and Cancellara and his 3 hrs of free advertising in Roubaix, I might actually be convinced. Big guys on the wrong bike often look strange. I'm literally the same size as Cancellara (from height to femur to arms.) And since he looked really good on his Specialized, so would I. I would look exactly like him, except for the fact that I'm actually Black :)

  • @Poler777 Thats great! you are in fact a very very lucky guy. I have no source but Ive heard that the guys at specialized who fitted Cancellara's bike for him said they have never seen anyone whose body was so perfect on a bike. Keep in mind Cancellara's bike may have custom parts on it or be a custom bike altogether like Boonen had, but either way it sounds like you have a body made to ride a bike really really fast.

  • Does anyone know the name of the flamenco on the video? It is a trastional piece. Also who is the artist? Been trying to figure it out for days. Thanks all.

  • @love2photou Its actually a traditional Jota from Spain, not a Flamenco. I got it from a stock-audio website that lists the artist as Various and the song title just as Jota Castanetas - not real specific.

  • Would you have the url to the website? Thanks.

  • @specialized411 Hello. Triathlon sponsored? in romania

  • @love2photou look for it as malagueña

  • @love2photou Idk if it is a common motif amongst latin-inspired music, but i know the motif makes an appearance in the song "Malaguena" by Ernesto Lecuona. Take a listen to it all the way through honestly examining it and you'll definitely hear it. =]

  • contador is light years ahead of anyone else, simply in a classs of his own, the tour this year will be alberto by a country mile, and anyone who thinks armstrong will win is deluded he is to old, and at that age your heart rate cannot reach the targets of younger riders unless he is on drugs which would not surrprize me, even then he will get his ass kicked, go alberto you are the best.

  • @joe99f1

Experience and team work will play a role. Contador's toughness has yet to be tested, he's never crashed or had to pick himself up and win under duress. He's only won so far because of a good support group backing him for the past few seasons. Not saying Contador will lose, but this year will be a lot harder for him to win.

  • that's the benefit of taking illegal substances, it makes everything easier. He should not have been allowed to cycle again. This is the type of guy that ruins the sport of cycling. All the talent in the world but not satisfied with it....gotta take drugs to get an advantage...I wonder how long he's been taking drugs...makes you wonder...I think he should be stripped of all his titles since he won it with an unfair advantage doing drugs...drugs in the meat huh...that was a lame excuse...

  • @johnnyr3 yea and tell me this mister know it all, just how long has lance been on the magic pills, for ever he is the biggest fraud in sporting history and all is about to be reveiled by a grand jury investigation now that will be nice to see, almost every top racer in history has taken some kind of substance, it has been said that the TDF has never been won by a clean racer says it all dont you think, i say let them race on a level playing feild take drugs its in every sport so why not,!!!!

  • What wheels were those he's spinning in the outdoor footage? H3D's???

  • 1. Cantador

    2. Lance

    3. Wiggins

    4. Andy Schleck

    5. Cadel Evans

  • Have you looked at the race profile for the tour this year? Lance and Wiggins don't have the climbing ability to podium and there are not enough TT's or a TTT to carry them to top 5.

  • He looks so fuckin natural on his bike. Not like Wiggins, who looks like a newborn fawn (all gangly arms and legs) or Cadel Evans, who looks like he's being anally raped. Contador looks like he was made for the modern road bike. Just like Dave Zabriskie looks so right on a TT bike. And no, I'm not a Spanish Contador dick rider. I'm just a tall, fat, dude that is secure enough in his masculinity to admit when another man is beautiful while riding a bike,..and wearing tights with no underwear.

  • nice message, dude

  • @Poler777 Took the words right out of my mouth.

  • @Poler777

Well the idea is to be as relaxed as possible to save as much energy as you can.

Every rider has a different form. The form you assume that is the correct form isn't always the best form. And there's a reason why those top riders still ride in the form they are now. It's because they feel that's the best form for them. Their form brought themselves to a pro level.

But you are still right. even professional riders test out their form every single day.

  • @Poler777 Haha, love your reply!

  • @Poler777 Wiggins is fuckin shit. I don't know what the hype is all about, everyone keeps saying he's going to be "up there" in TT's, but he's never actually there.

  • You suck Alberto.

  • 1- Alberto Contador

    2-Andy

    3- Bradley Wiggins

    4 Lance

    5 Levi

    6 Sastre

    7 Kreuziger

    8 Tony Martin

  • dont forget the sprinters. there's more flat stuff this year. they could get up there in the rankings

  • 1. Christian Vandevelde

    2. Alberto Contador

    3. Cadel Evans

    4. Andy Schleck

    5. Lance Armstrong

    6. Carlos Sastre

  • 1. Lance Armstrong

    2. Andy Schleck

    3. Alberto Contador.

lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol.......

  • 2010 Tour:

    1. Andy Schleck

    2. Alberto Contador

    3. Lance Armstrong

    4. Fränk Schleck

    5. Robert Gesink

  • Ridiculous!

    Lighter? -> UCI-Limit: 6.8 kg xD

Seems to me like bad memorized slogans of specialized.

Alberto, stay at your business and don`t talk!

With business i mean: Not gettin' caught by the Anti Doping medics... :p

  • A S T A N A - #1 !

    VINO 4EVER!

  • Final 5 2010 'Tour de France' prediction:

    1. Alberto Contador

    2. Andy Schleck

    3. Lance Armstrong

    4. Cadel Evans

    5. Roman Kreuziger

  • Thanks for posting this. I've got the subtitles.

  • So this video is on Specialized's website... with no translation. Um, good marketing.

  • Final 2010 'Tour de France' prediction:

    1st Alberto Contador

    2nd Lance Armstrong

    3rd Cadel Evans

  • yup, although lance, I don't think so lol, he might finish third again.

  • What about Andy Schleck? I don't see evidence that he will do worse than a podium finish again.

  • Thanks a ton for the subtitles! I hope you and especially Alberto have a very successful year with the bikes.

  • There are subtitles guys, check the CC option in the menu triangle in the lower right.

YouTube doesn't let us force CC subtitles to show my default, but if you turn it on for this video they're always show for you in the future.

    Sorry for the confusion!

  • Great! I never knew Youtube even had a subtitles option.

  • @specialized411 Is this current? Is he no longer with Trek Bikes?

  • @chucholetsm8one Astana switched to Specialized this year.

  • Nice Wheels , As long as he wins the tour on the S Works , he can talk whatever language he likes , would be nice to understand what he's on about though

  • Would be helpful if you put some subtitles in.

  • English please.

  • nice wheels !

  • he looks great on that bike!!
