How To JAILBREAK iPhone 3G S using purplera1n (Windows + Mac)

Hy there, I unlocked my iPhone 3G last version using:

So this is basically a cheap rip off of blackra1n, and for future reference tell us what firmware to use and nobody is on 3.0 or 3.1 anymore. Every1 is on 3.1.3 or 4.0 so y did u post this on July 5th, 3.1.3 was able to be jailbroken in February, and 3.0 was in like august last year, all in all this video is useless and should be removed

i just jailbroke my iphone 3gs and downloaded cydia. Now it wont turn on and when i plug it in to itunes the device doesnt appear. I already pressed the power and home button at the same time but nothing happens. PLEASE HELP!!!

You shouldn't quit the app went it says " Done! Wait.... " Also don't unplug it, or the whole process will be done all WRONG. If your stuck on the " Plug to iTunes picture, just hold down your sleep wake button with your home button at the same time until the apple logo shows up. If that doesn't work then, do the same process but let it be plugged into your computer. Hope it help people who are troubled!

well if you had half a brain baseballplaya96 you'd know that 'jailbreaking' is a hack and hacking is a "Do at your own descretion." type thing, so dont get all mad because you messed up. just update the firmwear through itunes.,

l0l by reading the commects it looks like 50% but i think all the people who it did not work for did it wrong must be 3.0 (not 3.0.1) musta have newest version of iTunes and do not touch your iphone or open up itunes while its jailbreaking

Install CyDelete from Cydia, then go to Settings > CyDelete and toggle on Non-Cydia Deletion. You can uninstall Freeze directly from the Home screen like you do any AppStore app. :)
