When I was 16 years old, Darrell became the music minister of my church at Meadowbrook Baptist Church in Irving Texas. About a year after my dad planted a church in Elkhart, IN; he introduced us to Darrell's song "Freedom" and I cried for sheer joy to know that he triumphed in his quest to spread the Gospel with his fantastic talents! He was wonderful then, and wonderful now. I'm proud of him! DJ

i don't know what religion means to you. i do not pretend to be an angel.. i just say i'm christian. i'm not fundamentalist.

Its not about being a christian or a fundamentalist. Its not about cussing or not cussing or even being tolerant or about what people will think about you (or Christians) if you cuss. Its about following Christ and the real change that the Holy Spirit will work in your life if you actually trust Him. Those things will fall away as you deepen your relationship with Him. The question you have to answer for yourself are you realling following or just pretending?

You should read what I said...its for you to decide, I cannot know your heart. All I can speak to is the fact that we follow are real God who has real power in the here and now and desires to see real change in our lives-not just some head agreement to an idea or belief. I think that Jer 17:10, Matt 12:33-37, and Matt 15:18-20 might be worth looking at.

Your quote is out of context. Jesus was speaking to those who wanted to kill a woman for her sin, not correct her. Think about what He says to her next "Go and sin no more." John 8: 11 Or how about: "Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ." Eph 4:15 God DOES want us to correct our brothers and sisters, not just leave them be. However, when you quote the words of God, make sure you are not falling under 2 Pet 2:1ff...
