Finkel plays what should be a child's game with what I can only assume is a massive dedication of time and mental energy and has made to date less than three hundred thousand (not very much considering). I'd say without a doubt Garfeild wins and Finkel is a massive dork.

For all the hype leading up to that match, I bet Wizards was pissed at how lame these two games were. I don't even know how that happened, though. 25 of the 62 cards in Garfield's deck were land. That's 40%.

i built a deck that's always wins that follows the rules and restrictions of type 1 (vintage). It's an urza block infinite turn engine that goes off turn 1 sometimes and always on turn 2. The mechanic of it is so good and balanced that it always goes off. It's all about Temporal Apperature, Minds Desire and a bunch of extra turn shits. If Ante was still allowed, it's be worse, cause id use contract from the below, which is 7 cards for 1 black, and i'd run it black blue instead of mono blue

@61cookiemonster Pokemon's not as bad as Yugioh since it was originally developed by WOTC but Yugioh isn't even balanced...at all. Still, neither is as good as MTG.
@BabyPharoe It's all a matter of opinion and personal taste, I've played all the card games mentioned and I find yugioh to be the most fun but I play magic because the game is much more balanced, is a lot cheaper, and there is much better prize support.
@Colinski03 I found Yu-Gi-Oh to be very easy tournament wise compared to the tournament levels in Magic.. Also Yu-Gi-Oh is much cheaper to play than Magic.. You want to play magic right now.. The major card in decks right now.. Jace the Mind Sculptor costs about 80-100 U.S. and you'll probably run 3-4 of those.. oh well lol
@ZippoSol yu-gay-ho is not as simple 2 play as Magic: The Gathering. MTG is a lot more complex but easier 2 play cuz of the mana thats used 2 play spells and stuff. but in yu-gay-ho ur pretty much just playing cards whenever and having ur opponents attacks being re-routed back 2 them with several cards. MTG needs mana 2 play cards all the time so its easier and u know when its best 2 play a card and when its best 2 hold back ur cards
@SincerelyProtoBeast not all times some rare old cards could be played without manna. but yay i like mtg bc of that. sometimes it so stupid bc all i get is land or no land and you do have to be a little lucky in it in that retrospect but thats only in a few games i had that problem.
@SincerelyProtoBeast ya..my cuz plays with the cheap white new deck.he has this combo which i hate and cant counter yet. he has a creature with the ability you gain +1+1 for each life you gain and than he has like 4 enchantment that can give him one life if he taps it and it only cost like 2 manna or something to play it..its so cheap white. i think only blue could really counter it effectively bc it has a lot of flying and a lot of counters.white has flying and enchantments.i play green :/
@TonPappa My black deck is set to just destroy all of my enemies' creatures when they get to be problem. Plus, I churn out thousands of tokens for sacrifices and I make all of my permanants indestuctible (That Which Was Taken). So I play Endrek Sahr, Sarpadian Empires, Eon Hub, (all three for sacrifices), Reiver Demon (clears the board of white), Demonic Hordes (destroy his lands), Lord or the Pit and Fallen Angel. With a combination of those and a few others, I kill those cheap W or G decks.
@ElPayasoMalo yay. i have a new deck. green and white. which is bad ass/ i found cards that all have cannot be countered and have shroud and stuff like thoes cheap old cards ie Day of Judgment and Might of Oaks cards like that which makes it a baddas fatty deck with some elves to play with 1 mana cost. plus some cards that give me 8 life and someothers like that and now im the envy of my cuzens who play. we play each other in tournaments and about 20 of us show up and friends and play.
@TonPappa I just added Ashnod's Alter, which works very well the the others I just mentioned and Sengir Autocrat. I also added a Dark Ritual, which helps a lot. Unfortunatly, the only local place that held those local tournaments closed several months ago. I miss the hell outta that place.
@SincerelyProtoBeast actually, as you get more advance in the game you construct your deck and mana base so that you never get mana flooded and you get the lands you need.

@iliketoreplytovids thats y magic is a lot better 2 play cuz ur not just laying down cards and hoping 2 get lucky, in magic u have 2 lay down lands and use abilities a the right time so ur not wasting them on an easy win like in yu-gay-ho where ur laying things down on ur turn and winning in the 2nd turn. magic probly takes about 5-? turns on average 2 win
@BabyPharoe I agree with the Pokemon, and the DnD but I have played Yugioh ever since it came out and i would say from personal experience that both are great games.
its way diffrent than either of those 2, the rules are simple and its easy to learn, and i went with Mtg then picked up DnD lol playing both is pretty fun
I remember when Balduvian Horde was $20 freakin dollars and that jacked up the price of Alliance boosters to $5! I few months ago I was going through a box of $1 rares at a local shop and there was Balduvian Horde. I thought about buying just for nostalgic purposes, since I never owned one, but I decided not to waste the dollar and bought a Lurking Predators.
They're quick on offensive. Garfield thought Finkel would play blue, so he built a Red/Green to quicken his assault. Except Finkel played Red/Black to quicken the pace of small but lethal creatures on board.
nice i've got a blue red black deck. me and my friends play a 5 person free for all and i'm usually one of the top though we usually don't have time to finish either -_-
i spent all 5 yers of secondary school playing the game before school and during most lunches. the game just sucks you in and once you have a regular group of players you can start trading games for the wins. my two decks got me through high school with ease :D

@iliketoreplytovids thats y magic is a lot better 2 play cuz ur not just laying down cards and hoping 2 get lucky, in magic u have 2 lay down lands and use abilities a the right time so ur not wasting them on an easy win like in yu-gay-ho where ur laying things down on ur turn and winning in the 2nd turn. magic probly takes about 5-? turns on average 2 win

@BabyPharoe M:tG is based on D&D. Garfield just replaced roleplaying with cards. Both games kick ass (until Wzards ruined them).

its way diffrent than either of those 2, the rules are simple and its easy to learn, and i went with Mtg then picked up DnD lol playing both is pretty fun

I remember when Balduvian Horde was $20 freakin dollars and that jacked up the price of Alliance boosters to $5! I few months ago I was going through a box of $1 rares at a local shop and there was Balduvian Horde. I thought about buying just for nostalgic purposes, since I never owned one, but I decided not to waste the dollar and bought a Lurking Predators.

They're quick on offensive. Garfield thought Finkel would play blue, so he built a Red/Green to quicken his assault. Except Finkel played Red/Black to quicken the pace of small but lethal creatures on board.

i spent all 5 yers of secondary school playing the game before school and during most lunches. the game just sucks you in and once you have a regular group of players you can start trading games for the wins. my two decks got me through high school with ease :D

I've only played 1 or 2 times for real, I do most of my games online, and Magic Workstation is great!
Faster, as funny as a real game and you can play with real PROS around the globe.
Or play with your friends. Or even play in LAN.
The only problem is that you can only play 1vs1. But since I do that most of the time, it's not a problem.
