  • P.S. I have just discovered the Pubster & it sounds beautiful played clean here. Sounds very creamy with the humbuckers & sounds awesome overdriven. Love to hear one live but no chance of that where I live your thoughts of you'd be so kind

  • Great job Bob, thanks so much for the music

  • Wow that beginning was sick!!! Great playin bro! Check my blues solo out bro if u wouldn't mine!!! Keep jammin!!! :)

  • Thanks. It is Daphne Blue. Go to the Fender Color page and you can check it out.

  • Love the walking on that first chorus.

I want to paint my guitar that same color! Is that sonic or daphne? Thanks, Bob!

  • keep trying man. you'll get it.

  • Absolutely brilliant!

  • Nice video. All these dumb questions about investment grade guitars and flatwound strings, etc..., it's a freaking strat and Rivera Pubster. Tone is in the fingers. Jeez. Great video man. You need to post some more.

  • Really nice! Truly.

  • @THACONCH For an investor maybe land is a better bet. As a musician I crave an instrument that inspires my art. This one does that. Also, I equally enjoy a Warmoth Strat I have been tinkering with for years for a different sound. If they stopped building these instruments they might be investment grade. Time will tell though...

  • it says blues but sounds more jazz than blues... which I actually like over the blues. :)

  • @waspy89 Correct. Never thought of that but you are right.

  • my friend, i listen to a LOT of YT videos looking for nice guitar bits... and your video is MOST enjoyable! excellent playing and very nice chops!

thank you very much for posting this.

  • @jlr022159 Thanks.

  • Any guitar built by the Fender Custom Shop is "investment grade" but the Wildwoods are even a notch above that...

  • I never gigged with that amp but suspect it would work. It might not be enough for a really good clean loud sound if the drummers is playing hard.

    bob

  • Can you get the pubster to sound clean at a high enough volume to practice/gig with a drummer and then use the boost to dirty up the sound?

    Good sound and great playing!

  • I own a pubster and you can use it for a clean sound on the main channel, to practice and gig ( in pubs or small places ). It will be even better with a comp and an EQ pedal.

The boost will give you a nice crunchy sound a bit louder than the clean sound.

It's really a very nice amp, don't hesitate friend ;)

  • hey man are they made in us? thanks, im thinking of getting one

  • yes !

  • It's just sick how good you sound. =)

  • I cant believe how good that sounds and the pubster is so affordable.

  • Thanks. I appreciate that. bob

  • are you using heavy flatwound strings on it?

  • No. I am using DiAddario 10 to 49. Heavy pick and fingers.

    bob

  • Outstanding.

  • greatttt playing mannnnn

  • Sweet tone!! Some cool playing also!!!Kinda curious,,does that amp have a strong reverb on it to do surf stuff,,like the Ventures?

  • AWESOME!!! Please post more!!! Great sounding amp and tone!

  • Awsome tone and strat. I've got the 60's wildwood 10 strat in faded sonic blue, and it's easily the nicest strat I've ever played, let alone owned.

  • Great sound Bob.. when did you get the strat?

  • smokin'. Playin' and the strat tone!
