Actually I benched both Explore 7 and 8 seven got a score of 248 at Peace keeper and 8 got a score of 433 with this same computer google chrome got a score of 3524 leaves explore in the dust. Please dont ever use explore your life would be much better off with out it just sayin

Microsoft's browser market share is going down, IE8 didn't stop the trend, so they resorted to all sorts of commercials to see if that helps. In fact last month IE market share dropped so much that Net Applications refused to publish the stats.

IE8 is just a modified IE7. It's still an an outdated browser. I'll be sticking with the more advanced Firefox 3.5 and Opera 10, both of which are light years more advanced than IE8 is.

Also, tabs in IE = Windows disguised as tabs. Window Management in Win7 reveals that.

Erm, the rendering Engine in 8 was improved drastically to adhere to standards. THey even needed a button to keep it compatible with the old "BAD" pages. But hey... Browser fanboys.. gotta love em.

Well, I have GRIPES about IE8. Once it starts loading a page, it won't stop until the page is nearly done loading or until the connection times out. This means if I click on the wrong link or I open a new window to go somewhere other than the default home page, I have to wait for IE8 to finish doing the thing I don't want before it will let me tell it what I do want.
