You have a unique backswing, You bring the club very steeply up instead of out and back. Not necessarily bad but it looks like it causes you to bring the club back above the plane. Won't mess up the shot as much on a mat as grass, because the mat will push the clubhead back to flat(ter) . Try bringing the club straight back then up, instead of steep. Good swing otherwise in my opinion, particularly the tempo! Keep it up.

Great Swing! Really like the flow and tempo...I don't see any flaws. Do you lose any distance when compared to others? Seems like an easy going Couples type swing (lefty of course) and I've never really figured out how he hits the ball so far when it seems like he's barely putting any effort into it.

@Evanandwill800 I would agree with the first part of this comment regarding turning the shoulders more. This is a very nice swing but at least here it seems like mostly arms swining and not enough of the "big muscles" (like the shoulders) are turning through which might lead to less consistency or at least that's what the gurus would say. It seems like the pros are always talking about turning the big muscles and limiting arm swing.

I am also a lefty and keep a 4 handicap. Your swing looks really good! If I might offer one tiny bit of advice that might help you. Try and correct your posture in your back slightly. By correcting this, it will help increase your swing consistency which is really the key to hitting quality golf shots. Try and straighten out that arch by slightly bringing your hips back in your stance. You should have a straight arched back on your swing to help improve your consistency

keep your left foot straight.....it' will make easy for you to shift your weight on your left foot when doing backswing......when you'll keep your left foot at a left angle then your body moves extra to your left swing and body doesnt rotate aroung its spinal angle....

Very nice - I'm a lefty myself. Forget about all of these ideas of swing plane and the like, interesting though they are.

If your nice, relaxed swing gives you a good contact and consistently sends the ball where you want it to go - then just keep doing it! Your body will tell you if you're doing it right.

I like your swing; it has a smooth tempo.... If I had any constructive criticism, I would say that you need to put your weight more on the inside of your heels (I noticed your feet slide out slightly)

I've been golfing for 5 years 3 times a week on average. I like to tell my friends I golf in the high 60's low 70's. (if it's any colder than that I don't go out) Seriously though i'm a left handed golfer but my power arm (throwing,writing) is my right arm. I have an insane amount of draw on my shots even when I don't intend to so I find myself compensating more than I'm comfortable with. My brother tells me it's my wrists but I don't feel it. Does anyone know of a good exercise to prevent this?

Well, I'm right handed, so it might be different coming from me.. But I have two ways to get rid of a draw (usually results in a fade for me); 1: Come down strong with the lead arm, which would be left for me, right for you and 2: I start the swing tight inside and then just let it rise and drop in the slot. both result in a fade for me. Check out my swing; that's a pretty consistent fade when it comes to a driver.

On the 3rd and final swing looking face on you can see that you're head isn't moving or swaying all that much (there is a post in the background behind your head for a reference point) as the one guy said. I'm a fellow lefty and I think the swing looks really clean. I would suggest backing the camera up, I can't tell the shaft plane or if the clubface is open or closed at the top or throughout the backswing. I would guess a 9 or less handicap.
