They actually know what they are talking about during games and they are actually entertaining, unlike listening to every other team's announcers. Yes they fall heavily onto Dallas' side at times, considering they ARE the Stars' announcers, but you listen to them enough and you see they call games almost right down the middle, without alienating any Dallas fans by staying just enough on the Stars' side.

The Dallas Commentators are the greatest commentators ever. Now since your from Anaheim you have no idea who they are just like i dont know whos Anaheims commentators are. Now they may have lost "objectivity" but still how often does this happen?
This was definitely a game for the history books. By the end of the game, the Ducks' bench was empty, and their goalie cleared the puck out of bounds but missed the glass. The Ducks literally had nobody left to put in the penalty box to serve it, so the refs just "let it slide."
I watched this from Anaheim, so it was a different perspective, but here's a big "screw you" to the Dallas commentators for completely losing objectivity. Great clip, thanks for posting it!
Just as an FYI, Darryl Reaugh and Ralph Strangis are the best announcing duo in the league (Center Ice has taught me that) - and back in 1998, Brian Hayward and Chris Madsen were two of the worst, specifically because they are "homers." And I watched this game (I live in So. Cal.) and Madsen was damn near in tears after the Selanne hit and Hayward was anecodting that "back in his day, there wouldn't be a player left on the bench." So, if lack of objectivity is a crime, pass judgment both ways!
Reaugh & Strangis ARE the best commentators in the NHL, and if you listen to them year after year, you'll see that they try as hard as they can most nights to be objective but they always keep their commentary *just* on Dallas' side. Thats' how it should be.

The Dallas Commentators are the greatest commentators ever. Now since your from Anaheim you have no idea who they are just like i dont know whos Anaheims commentators are. Now they may have lost "objectivity" but still how often does this happen?

This was definitely a game for the history books. By the end of the game, the Ducks' bench was empty, and their goalie cleared the puck out of bounds but missed the glass. The Ducks literally had nobody left to put in the penalty box to serve it, so the refs just "let it slide."
I watched this from Anaheim, so it was a different perspective, but here's a big "screw you" to the Dallas commentators for completely losing objectivity. Great clip, thanks for posting it!

Just as an FYI, Darryl Reaugh and Ralph Strangis are the best announcing duo in the league (Center Ice has taught me that) - and back in 1998, Brian Hayward and Chris Madsen were two of the worst, specifically because they are "homers." And I watched this game (I live in So. Cal.) and Madsen was damn near in tears after the Selanne hit and Hayward was anecodting that "back in his day, there wouldn't be a player left on the bench." So, if lack of objectivity is a crime, pass judgment both ways!

Reaugh & Strangis ARE the best commentators in the NHL, and if you listen to them year after year, you'll see that they try as hard as they can most nights to be objective but they always keep their commentary *just* on Dallas' side. Thats' how it should be.

You know what's a joke? Sydor. He turtles, then jumps on Sevryn's back, and get his ass handed to him. I am glad McKenzie beat the crap out of him that one time. Same stuff.

Too bad that Anahiem has always been a bunch of goons. Salei's "push" on Mo was 10X worse than Ludwig's hit on Selanne. It wasn't clean however Selanne wasn't that hurt.
