  • dr. lan i want to tell you my case in an e-mail so you can have an idea of what I'm going through, what is ur e-mail ? hope we can do this as fast as possible I am desesperate really.

  • thank you! and please recommend me or find me the best of the best, I am scared of doing this but I have no choice anymore. my primary doctor just ordered a full MRI scan of my spine , should I take these with me to the chiropractor? I don't know let me know, it's time for me to get fix its been too long, oh yeah while my time in Peru my left damage leg actually got better but remember that I was complaining about the other side too? well it's been a year and nothing has happened. thanks

  • dr lan can you find me a gonstead doctor in los angeles??

  • @Jeanislove1985 Hi Jean, I am sure it is you that I sent the details of an LA Chiropractor to your email address in the past. I will find these details again and resend them to you. Kind regards, Dr Ian

  • that chick that walks in the room is super cute

  • god your an amazing doctor. <3

  • @donsandra420 Thanks :) you guys make my day..

  • Hi Dr Ian,

I just wanted to ask your thoughts on sciadica pain related to foot overpronation?

I currently wear orthotics however still experience moderate sciadica pain. It is not as bad as the man in this video however it is still very painful. I can't walk for long periods of time without it "pinching" and it's very painful. I love the results seen above and would like to book a session with you however I'm not sure if this method will be effective in my case?

    Many thanks!

  • @jennastix24 Your sciatic pain may or may not have something to do with your foot pronation originally but your nerve irritation is almost definitely coming from your spine or pelvis now. So yes! I would say we could definitely help you :) look forward to meeting you and getting you well. Regards, Dr Ian.

  • I've had bad sciatic pain for a few months now. The pain has dragged on and on, its caused my to be depressed and have feelings of anxiety. I had my consultation a couple of days ago, and my x rays and appointment are today. I'm not as bad as the man in the video, so after watching your video, I feel that I do have hope. Thank you very much for the video.

  • @0IDaveCouch ..You're welcome and thanks to you too. Where do you live?

  • Hello Dr. Ian, I've got 2 bulging discs in my lower back, and acording to my chiropractor, I also have a misaligned pelvis, my lower spine and neck have lost abit of curve. Basically what I feel is pain, pins and nidles in my right leg, and the right hand side on my pelvis is a bit sensitive. I don't know if my chiropractor is good because I've had 3 sessions and I do not feel much progress, comparing to what I see you do in your videos. Do u know any good chiropractor in Newcastle, NSW? Thank u

  • @ishpico I will have a look to see who is in Newcastle. True disc bulges are difficult to correct so your Chiropractor, (and your body), may need more time. Sometimes these things gradually improve over a period of weeks or months with the right care. your improvement will start with some positive changes to your symptoms and then you should gradually improve from there. We'll be in touch, regards, Dr Ian

  • @chiroexcellence Thank you for your reply Dr. Ian, at least you gave me hope which is good. I would like to find a good chiropractor so that I don't waste my time, money and health. I wish I was in Melbourne to come to your clinic, I have family there but I don't know when I will travel to Melbourne again. Do you think it is a good idea to go to the hospital or to a good chiropractor? I will be in touch with you to find a good chiropractor in Newcastle or the Central Coast. Thank you again.

  • @ishpico Sorry for the late reply. Definitely a good Chiropractor with experience in these cases is best but make sure that you are in the right place. You have a very good Gonstead Chiropractor in Coffs Harbour. His name is Dr Jason Patterson, give him a call and he will take good care of you. Best regards, DR Ian

  • moarrrr vids Doc Ian! is it ian or Lan? :P

  • @tigers14 Yes more coming.. Any requests? Btw, it's Ian :)

  • I am doctor myself and I have great respect for doctors like you ,keep it up DR IAN :-)

  • @15amiami Very nice of you to take the time to say so, thanks! I'm like you.. Respect to all health professionals who are principled and patient focussed. Thanks again and good luck with everything that you do. Take care, Ian

  • @chiroexcellence Thanks Dr Ian ! I wish you the same Amen !

  • So uh, the whole pants around his ankles thing, what's that about?

  • @gdanp78 As discussed it was actually necessary to take the xrays. Otherwise the belt and buckle and zip would be in the picture and he was in too much pain to fully remove his trousers and put on our xray shorts which is the normal protocol.

  • Hello Dr. Ian I live in Dallas, Tx United States and I am going to a chiropractor here now from watching your videos I've notice I have the same symptoms, lower back pain and pain that shoots down my right leg. Now the chiropractor hasn't pop (adjust) my back yet he is taking it slow. Doing massages and using another tool. Can he just adjust my back like you are do it? I feel like he just want me to keep going to keep charging me money. I just want this pain to go away. Any chiropractors you

  • simply brilliant!

  • @leafy79 Thanks mate, appreciate it. Dr. Ian

  • Insanely fast sacrum pull! Im gonna let my P-L ride until I run into you at a Gonstead Seminar...ATL in March?

  • any good chiropratic in italy? :(

  • @dmjita Hi there. I will try and find out for you and let you know. Kind regards, Dr. Ian

  • Why must you be all the way in Australia? I'd do anything to have someone with half your skill in Chicago ohmygod

  • @Taesarra Hi. There :) Guess what....You in luck! You have one of the best Gonstead pactitioners in the world right by you in Barrington. Look up Dr John Cox at Cox Chiropractic in Barrington. He is the head of the international Gonstead Seminars and the son of Dr Alex Cox who worked alongside Dr Gonstead for many years. He is a personal friend of mine and will definitely take care of you. Say hi for me and let me know how you go. All the best, Dr Ian

  • @chiroexcellence Really? That's amazing! :D Will definitely let you know how it goes once I manage to save up enough money. Thank you so much!

  • cool video doc. i use the same technique. im in mission viejo, ca

  • The most common criticism I hear about chiropractic is that it is "unscientific." The Gonstead method is brilliant in addressing that: it's precise, it's substantiated by objective evidence, and it gives an empiricist the empirical data other disciplines provide. How much of the actual act of giving an adjustment an intuitive movement (i.e. Is there a "natural" feeling to the treatment)?

  • @OneAdventure Thanks for your comments, much appreciated. One thing that the Gonstead specialty strives to achieve is a large degree of inter examiner reliability in both assessment & treatment. In line with this we have very specific structure to the set up & correction but there is definitely a degree of 'personal skil/feel' that may separate Practitioners a little. Much like the 'personal feel' required to complete the structured skills of surgery or delivery of a baby for eg. Thanks, Dr Ian.

  • I seriously want to come to Australia just so you can fix me. I've seen chiros here and no offense to them, they don't know what they are doing. . If you ever do a visit in Los Angeles, where you do adjustments please let us all know.

  • @totalwreckage Unbelievably, I was just in LA one week ago. I will contact my associates in Chicago and see if I can find someone who can take good care of you. All the best, Dr Ian.

  • why does he have his pants down HAHAHHAHAHHAHAHA

  • @1990smithers Haha. It was actually necessary to take the xrays. Otherwise the belt and buckle and zip would be in the picture and he was in too much pain to fully remove his trousers and put on our xray shorts.

  • ok well back to your bar stool now

  • @thuggoe Don't know what that means but all the best to you anyway, Dr Ian.

  • I would love to have his magic hands on me

  • That guys done crack I know it

  • That was amazing!!! i'm a chiropractic student in sydney, you adjusted me at the Gonstead Seminar and I've be perfect since! the Best ASEx ever! lol! I am so happy for that Patient! Good work!

  • @MsPrincessnatalia thanks for taking the time to say so :) Whenever we adjust Dr's or students at seminars it is always great to find out how they went afterwards.. By the way.....Ms Princess; cool name :) take care, Ian

  • Hi Youtubers, Sorry for the delay in getting back to your questions, the practice has been flat out lately and then I am leaving to teach in Europe end of this week. Will get to your questions as soon as I can. Thanks so much for your support. All the best in health and happiness, Dr. Ian.

  • What a great story. I really enjoyed watching this. I appreciated the "without tablets" line. I was reading a news article that said that chiropractic is the best pain killer and the results far surpass that of taking pain killers orally

  • @ChiropracticOptions Pain killers only treat the SYMPTOMS (pain) but never fix the CAUSEof the problem. They only give the body more toxins to deal with! Ultimately the only way to fix your problem to take the pressure off the nerve with a specific Chiropractic adjustment and let the body heal itself. Thanks for your comments. All the best, Dr. Ian.

  • What an amazing turn around! A great chiropractor and you obviously weren’t meant to be working on that given day as your outfit is pretty casual!

  • did anybody else laugh at this?

  • This "adjustment" amounts to an ass slap. Ridiculously funny.

  • I have the same question as Martin, do you have like bionic fingers or something? Awesome technique, some real skill there doc. Great work.

  • wonderful to see!

  • Incredible change so quickly. Was this a base posterior sacrum and how did you contact it? Was the thumb contacting the sacrum too or was it just the fingers? Me and few of my chiro friends are wondering how can you have so my strength in your fingers to make such pure pull moves. Is this fairly natural or did you practice for finger strength specifically somehow. If yes, then please share the secret :) Thanks for the inspiration.

  • Poor guy...i felt his pain in the beginning...you are definitely a fantastic Chiropractor to take the time to help this guy and the results are amazing..Welldone!
