how is this a backwards braid? It seems more just like a regular french braid to mee?

@kawlways The braid is inverted so it pops up. In a regular french braid, you would pull the right and left sides over the middle piece instead of under.

for some reason when i try this look, the hair around the back of the braid bubbles up when i pull the entire braid back to bobby pin it. idk why it does this, it ruins the whole look. bummer. any suggestions.
