  • You talk kinda low. But good review!.

  • Anyone can become a developer for BM. There is no loss of freedom; actually quite the opposite. Now you are free to design using real industry standard tools instead of ineffective proprietary tools.

If anything it ups the bar while at the same time creating a truly free environment for quality development.

SL doesn't even have shadows... And has extremely low resolution 3D objects. Even sculpted prims suck... haha

  • I JUST WONDER Y U HAVE TO BE 18 AND OLDER?

  • yeah i wonder too =/

  • I guess I'll believe it when I see it. People will just have to learn how to use real 3D software instead of prims right

  • I don't see it as loss of freedom. There will be independent developers creation their own content. This content can be anything they desire from an awesome hairstyle, unicorns, to full environments. I am sure some of those creations will be ugly.

Just like in Second Life, you can't come and ugly up my sim with your creation, unless I have that permitted.

  • I gues I can see why they don't want unregulated user created content to ugly the place up. Comparing Blue Mars to SL I wonder how much people want freedom compared to consistent good looks though.
