yes it was, the walls were, as well sprites having 3D movments, as well other things in the game.

Same with wolfenstein 3D, DOOM, etc.

And reguardless, it looks better without the resolution pack by far.

@m14g There were 2.5D, which basically is 3D with much less rendering and the use of sprites and shadowing. In example, when you say a drawing is in 3D, or a game today on a screen is 3D, it really isn't due to the screen, but still counts as 3D due to the fact that in game, it has enough shadowing, textures, polygons, etc, to make it look 3D. Therefore, it is 3D. but with 2.5D, it isn't rendered entirely, and is called, or I call it, 3D spriting, where the enemy or object has like, 30 views.

@m14g He meant though they were two dimensional sprites they were animated from all angles, aside from certain bosses you were never meant to see from some angles. The enemies were also able to move in three dimensions instead of being teathered to the floor (The could fly, jump, ect.)

@MrThembones The walls aren't 3d, the engine just renders them in a way that appears 3d, load Hollywood Holocaust and look at the tall buildings, they skew weirdly and widen with height.

I played Duke nukem 1 and 2. I liked them very much and then I played 3D. It was so fucking good. But after 3D, the games became ugly and newer. I didn't like that. I wished they made more 3D add ons. :)

Duke Nukem Forever is coming out, but b/c it was 10 years in the making the graphics will look a slight bit better then Half Life: Source, and sice that is gonna happen they're gonna have to tart all over with Duke Nukem Forever, but there was a video that shows duke nukem with good graphics, but its only 1 pic and i think thats Duke Nukem Forever, and its said to come out this year (which i highly dout)
