This reunion movie sucked. Not only did it turn the characters into complete idiots, but it used sound effects normally heard on cartoons! I think Nora Ephron [the twit who massacred the Bewitched movie] must have directed this.

Just not the same without Jo. I remember reading that Nancy McKeon was filming her show on Lifetime, The Division and that's the reson she couldn't be a part of it.
One of the things I've noticed is it had it's own cult following. We just can't get enough of the Eastland girls who took us along for the journey. I can't wait for the next movie to come out.

It's not in front of a live audience, everyone's changed, and there's always at least one stick in the mud (i.e. Nancy McKeon!) unwilling to participate. I think the worst I've ever seen was the Patty Duke Reunion movie. Used to LOVE that show. Was so disappointed. It was painful to watch.

The reason Nancy McKeon didn't reprise her role in the Facts of Lide reunion was because she didn't want to. She didn't want to always be remembered as Jo. Though many of of fans wish she had been apart of this but you can't help but understand where she is coming from.
Look at Dustin Diamond. Forever known as Screech from Saved by the bell. Or even Maureen McCormick. Always going to be known as Marsha Brady.
Nancy didn't want to become like these other childhood actors.

@TheClassica87 She got a serious paper cut LOL, she had to turn it down due to timing on two other movies she was working on. I really never saw this show growing up. JK I did and my daughter broke the news to me when they were getting ready to air this and came in going, NOW Mom, I got some bad news Tootie called and said Jo's trapped under her hubby's car and can't get to the set sooooooo, No Jo in the Reunion movie. I wanted to clobber her with the noodle strainer she picking on my teen years

The reunion show beyond lame. The writing and premise was horrible. Why they thought people really cared about this reunion is beyond me. Without the entire cast, it really was not a reunion of Facts of life.
@bluenail03 She never refused to do it at all. Nancy McKeon was in another series at the time called 'The Division', where she played a cop. There were too many scheduling overlaps between the series and this movie, so it was impossible for her to do it. At one point in this movie Mrs. Garrett mentions about Jo being a cop, which was a little nod to McKeon's current series at that time. Get your facts straight before making shit up.
