A: My MIDI Hero software has an auto-hold feature for every note hit because it's more natural for a drummer to play that way. It's not a good feeling to mash sticks into drum pads to hold notes.

For those who don't pay attention, the bass pedal is star power, whammy is set to auto through a program that I don't know what it is, and how he does the three notes? There are four things on the drum pad that have the double note, so all he had to do is hit one of those, and whatever other color he needs to hit! This is real, I've done it, don't call it fake just because u suck at guitar hero!

@Roofus611 he actually has a second pedal for his left foot which he uses to whammy. also there was one section where he didn't have a sufficient chord coloring so he had to use his right hand to hit two of the notes while using his left hand to stick the third note. pretty amazing.
