  • I don´t know how about you, but I don´t like Nirvana, Oasis rulez!!

  • so.. good.... so nice................

  • sick list

  • srry but none of these songs r forgotton except like 2

  • great tunes :)

  • you have really good taste in musicc !

  • @BenniePropane great list, you have brilliant taste in music and were you actually only born in 1994?

  • first 6 songs in this were utter crap

  • @BackInAGiffy That must be the stupidest comment I've ever seen on youtube. Smells Like Teen Spirit, Californication, Alive, Black Hole Sun, Tonight Tonight and Everlong are all great songs from great bands. So how the fuck can you call them utter crap you fucking idiot.

  • @ak30195 cos there crap, end of story

  • michael and the beatles were both really talented thats why they were and will continue to be some of the most famous names in music

  • Nirvana, Soundgarden, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, Oasis ("Wonderwall",) Weezer, Alice in Chains, Radiohead, Where the HELL is TOOL????...

  • one thing missing though. godspeed, radiohead, rage against the machine and all the rest of those guys.

  • @greyeyeblindmind radiohead was on there

  • @llwhelan2011 my bad.

  • good stuff. feel old writing this but the late nineties were my year for music. listening to 99,9 teh buzz all the time back then,

  • Where is Aphex Twin, Orbital, Prodigy, Manic Street Preachers, PJ Harvey, Primal Scream, Mansun, NIN, Pulp, Portishead, Massive Attack, Trickey...?

  • That Black Hole Sun has been coming and going in my head for about 6 years and I'm not even a fan of that song lol.

  • Gay

  • You forgot U2 but overall it's a great list

  • this video started with FAIL

  • i was only 11 yrs old but i loved all these tracks

  • Cowboy Dan by modest Mouse? Thats indie rock at its best man. No one ever puts indie rock songs on their list of best 90s music. Only grunge which is good, but indie rock tops it in my opinion.

  • where's blur and manic street preachers?

  • OASIS NUMBER ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

  • Wheres teh Hip Hop bruh?

  • @BenniePropane Where the fuck is the king of music Michael Jackson?? You should be a damn shame he was so popular in the 70s,80s,90s,and 00s. -___________________________-

  • @14evermj bwahahaha the king of music your funny he sucked ass. his biggest fan base was in china where they couldn't understand him lol. there are many more better artists than him. the Beatles, led zeplin, pink floyd, elvis, queen, and so on ad so on. them are bands who play "instruments" not computer generated beats.

  • @cbr900rr919 Lolol, Michael had a natural voice stfu. He's more talented than you think. Fuck all those other people Michael is the most sucessful entertainer of all time. He has a big fan base all over the world, not just china. He broke the beatles records, and elvis's records, I'm sorry please look in the world guissiness records book. Plus he has way more awards/grammys than anyone else, Plus had a album that sold the most copies in history. (: You know nothing.

  • @14evermj to each his own just cause you have a so called good voice dont make him an artist. i never seen him pick one instrument up in his life. he might have sold allot of albums but thats when people where just not right in the head. i.e. the eighties. plus all the touching of the kids wasnt cool at all. i know if i didnt do that i would have never paid them off just to get it over with. i would have fought it from start to finish. so i think he did it and im not down with pedophiles.

  • @14evermj and the Beatles are still the best selling "BAND" of all time and always will be. Michael didn't have a band so he dont fit in the criteria. he had a voice nothing more nothing less. he could sing but had no real talent whatsoever. it takes more talent to make a song with instruments than all of Jacksons songs put together. all he had to do was sing to a beat a guy in a studio put together by pushing buttons.

  • @cbr900rr919 What a load of crap. Michael makes his own beats THANK YOU VERY MUCH. He can also dance, and play the piano, and beatbox. So stfu. You know NOTHING, I mean NOTHING, about him. The beatles suck. Lmaorofl. Theres a reason why Michael's the king of pop.

  • @14evermj michael jackson has no place on this list. I like him, but no, fuck off

  • @eachneverydaynosleep we want to hear real music not some black dude singing bullshit with a computer doing the instruments for him. we want to see talent from artists. not some jiberish bull shit.. rap/hip hop sucks ass. not one rap artist has any talent whatsoever.

  • 90s and early 20s good memories

  • Born in '94 but I still remember the 90's and early 2000's pretty well.

  • i was clearly born in the wrong year -.-

  • @doctorpapaya idiots like u have to realize that kids from the 90s WERE BORN IN THE NINETIES!!!!! when you are younger u remember certain things that mark ur life 4ever and lemme tell u, i may not remember when i was potty trained but i do sure remember the music and the shows i grew up with and made me who i am today that MADE the 90s!!!

  • when the turn if millenia came, i was 6. i remember EVERY SINGLE song from this video

  • wow,im only 13 and i know all of these songs :O

  • no u2 ...........does not matter most of thease bands would be glad to be u2s opening act now

  • Hate to be a kill joy but while they did begin producing californication late in the year of 99' it didn't come out till june of 2000 on the album californication

  • I would've put Mutilated Lips by Ween

  • How can this be a 90's list without Green Day?

  • @jtessexpress cuz they are prettttyyyyyy gay. their first album was alright though

  • oh what i wouldnt give to have lived in this time period of the 90s...what great music

  • Thumbs up if you clicked this because you saw " Whats the story (Morning Glory?)

I was f*cking 1 year old in 1999, Now 12 and i would gave so much for being born in the 80's so i could enjoy the 90's music live.

  • I miss The Verve's "Bittersweet Symphony" and Suede's "The beautiful ones".

But from the rest I agree! :)

  • I agree with all of them except Nirvana..but lets me honest it would be unfair to leave them out.

  • damn.....1999 i was 15

  • its always man in the box.......

COME ON alice in chains had much better songs

  • @SwordsDragonsAndCoke Like rooster their best song ever IMO

  • @deepfreeze202 i vehemently disagree

  • @SwordsDragonsAndCoke I said it was my opinion lol

  • @deepfreeze202 ok well, i still vehemently disagree, not like it being an opinion changes that o_O

    idiot

  • @SwordsDragonsAndCoke Well then disagree without the insults asshole.

  • @deepfreeze202 how about you actually read what i write before using a cop out answer like "opinion"

  • Great ! :)

    Oasis live forever.

  • Great list, thanks :) really took me back.

  • @HarleyQuine the best song ever is...Japanese Cavemen in F# minor, i dont know who sings it and when i search it i just see this guy doing a cover of it. its good, i mean.. its pretty good but i want to find the original. any one know how they can help?

  • Perfect list, good job.

  • Were's Believe by Cher?!

  • Great list.

I'm new to the 90's music and I wouldn't change any of it.

  • @doctorpapaya Could you believe I was only 5 in 1999? Ahaha

  • @BenniePropane You obviously have either good influences or good tastes when it comes to music.

  • @BenniePropane man only 4 but still

  • @BenniePropane think he meant a 13 year old girl BORN in 1999. :P

  • @BenniePropane so was i!! but the 90's was a great music era. I love listening to these songs. it's just like being a kid again.

  • watch?v=46CNp89_52Y

  • How can you have a best of 90's vid without blur?

  • god bless the 1990s, they don't make em like this anymore.

  • it's amazing to me that when a song goes by and I hear it a random memory from my past is brought back up....good times I forgot about until a few minutes ago....

  • WHOOOOO YEA BRING BACK THE 90's THUMBS DOWN

  • I was born in 1958 and i would have to say that the 90's was the pinnacle of music

  • Didn't think you'd include The New Radicals song. "You get what you give"

  • @cyprixx dude u got Katy perry on ur favorite list and ur calling Cobain overrated, get the fuck out.

  • @Cioppa182 yeah your right about that, I had to laugh too. I just liked the remixes I guess.

  • you picked some of the greatest songs, good job!

  • shit i was born in 94 the day Cobain died

  • @Cioppa182 Good, at least you didn't have to listen to that s**t. Over rated garbage.

  • Its sad that i was little kid when all good songs came out...

  • @heyphantom4 I agree 90's music is where music peaked there's no hope for what passes as music nodays:/ i was born in 96 by the way so I'm in the same thing were I wish I was born earlier so I could have been my age back then

  • red hot....

  • No Lit?!?! What is this?!?!?

  • i agree these songs! 90's was golden time

  • I listened to Britney and BSB when I was in Junior High.

  • No STP? WTF

  • New Grunge is WAY better. unless you're Nirvana :)

Best grunge song of the 00's: Quicksand by Johannes.

  • I was born in 94, I wish I had 16 in that time...best bands ever, all of them.(Blur is missing). there's no hope for music now..

  • @whatalifeitwouldbe1 i agree.... all music that is being showcased are pop singers and techno shit. i wish i was born in the 80's so i could have appreciated the music we had more than now.

  • OMG I feel too old this is the music i used to hear

  • we were pissed of that 80's disco fun, you hear it in every song

  • These are all great songs, but where is STP? :)

  • i like every single band except number 8 btw this is a cool video

  • im one of those teenagers who live in 21st century but the music really sucks in my time...the all hits sounds the same and artists in these days NEVER write their own songs..thats kinda sad...i miss nirvana and other amazing bands...good video

  • @valttering Im the same thing, I heard these songs when I was a baby, and somehow still remember it. My brother, whom is 27 and lived through those times, has an ipod. If you listen to it its all pure 1990 music and I love it.

  • @SHad0wnight9 Yea! 1990-2000 were the golden years of the music :)

  • @valttering COOL YOU SEE IT THAT WHY. TO DAY MUSIC HAS NO HEART. THUMPS UP

  • @valttering I grew up in the 90's too, and I agree that 90's rock is wayyyyy > 00's, but just because you don't hear great rock on the radio now doesn't meant it doesn't exist. You just gotta look a little bit harder. Check out these great bands that are awesome now: Mew, DEFTONES, Aerosole Companion, Dredg, and Fair To Midland - Maybe you guys should suggest great bands instead of just bashing the whole decade. I know you all have loved at least one new band in the last 10 yrs.

  • @LykanKhan thx for the hint :) ill be listening those all right away

  • @valttering Abandon your radio (unless there are some community or college ran stations in your area)...There are amazing artists today that DO write their own music, unfortunately, they are not recognized by Mainstream Media often, though some are... You just have to search harder, which is sad... But they are out there! :-)

  • @TheJade4 Yeah... :) that's why i prefer spotify than radio.. i have found some cool 21st century bands thanks for u all....you can hint some bands if u got them in your mind .. all of you...i think we all will be happy if we know there somewhere is good this century bands + sry my bad english :)

  • @valttering The White Stripes (though they just broke up), The Dead Weather, Interpol, Isis, Iron & Wine, DeVotchKa, Bright Eyes, The Arcade Fire, Battles, Caribou, My Morning Jacket, Saul Williams, The Mars Volta, Sigur Ros, The Flaming Lips, Explosions in the Sky, The Black Keys, And some great bands from the 90's are still kicking it today! :-)

  • @TheJade4 Woah! there's lot of music .. thanks for all of those :D keep on commenting so we know the music is not dead! thumbs up for TheJade4 and LykanKhan

  • @valttering DAMN you're so DAMN RIGHT!! I hate the "new" and "original" music nowawdays.. i miss those days

  • @valttering Bruh there is still good music its just underground got to look for it. The Radio and mainstream has is mostly all trash

  • Great collection put together, thankyou for uploading :)

  • I still listen to the smashing pumpkins every now and then :D

  • there all good but ima go with he smashing pumpkins.

  • AIC, RADIOHEAD AND RHCP!

  • Good Tunes!

  • I love love love the smashing pumpkins. I named my daughter after the song " Lily" :)

  • There seems to be a theme with the songs they are all one type of music! Anyway what about Blur, where were they Parklife was the album of the 90's!

  • very nice thanks for making this video

  • Some good ones in there... :)

  • omg... so many flashbacks of me trying to understand these songs as a kid. great times

  • californication 2000

  • haaa the 90s, a lots of greatsong

  • Hm, why is it only rock?

  • I do love all of these bands except for radiohead. I'm not too familiar with them. But I did notice that all of the bands were well... Stressed white male bands. There wasn't even a matchbox 20 song in this pile.

  • Californiacation!! Everlong!!! OASIS!!!!

  • good mix good choiced

  • @pinkcheesevatos i think Evan flow is better than that, and for smashing pumpkins its bullet with butterfly wings.

  • Nice collection :)

  • good mix bro

  • I like your list, but it's only ONE genre of music, if you're going to generalize the title of your list, you gotta add more types of music...other than that, good stuff

  • the number one is first it giveth...............god save queens of the stone age

  • Coldplay

  • @Videoeditor3000 more like cold gay

  • When I first clicked on this video I heard Smells Like Teen Spirit... and once i heard the guitar riff play, i knew right away this list was going to be awesome.

  • Were is Black Eyed Peas?

  • Definately Nirvana and Alice in Chains

  • I was robbed of good music/culture, I was born in 95 D:

  • @sharrrkbate7 me too

  • <3 Oasis and Weezer :)

  • @Hollylovesballz ask on Yahoo Answers...someone will know for sure.

  • wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow me encanta

  • Nirvana is the band ever!!!

Fuck justin bieber and lady gaga!

nirvana, guns n roses, metallica, pearl jam... That is real music!!!

    R.I.P - Kurt Cobain

  • I have 1 through 6, 8, 9, 10 all on my ipod :)

  • great list

  • NIRVANA SUCKS BALLS!!!!!!!!!!!

  • A good list... IMO though I would have to put 1 LInkin Park in there somewhere.

Alot of choices came from the Heroin sound of post Curt K bands. Could have expanded alittle away from rock only too. Just a thought , still a good list though.

  • Smashing pumpkins Bullet with butterfly wings over tonight tonight and alice in chains would over Man in the box.

  • What bout tupac???

  • @huizar618 fuck tupac he good but not for this list ...no rap... thats a different list

  • Nice Recopilation!

I Love the Songs too :D

  • awesome list, i love the last one (you could have made this video with just ok computer and it would have been perfect) and everything else, but i dooo believe santeria by sublime and coffee and tv by blur should be there as well :O

  • Comment removed

  • Quality list, there are more songs I'd have put on though. And I'd choose another Oasis song, maybe Live Forever, I don't like Wonderwall.

  • lo mejor de la epoca sin duda

  • hey dogg were is the tool?

  • super songs, would be easy to pick 100 great rock songs from the 90s, miss all that music :((( 90% of music now is crap, no passion or feeling in it at all, wallpaper or background music! Maybe a number 11 on here might have been Guns 'n' Roses Don't Cry?....

  • i hate nirvana

  • 90's music is so much better than most music today, and I mean all 90's not just the rock.

  • i consider californication a 2000s song

  • @nebhuskers923 it's not since that album was released in 1999. I personally believe that Californication was the last true rock album. I liked viva la vida and x&y by Coldplay but there not really rock rock.

  • Its kind of nice to have an only rock one every other one is just pop and whatever dude below said click a different video if you dont like this one.

  • 80's and 90's are the peak of the modern music this is a fact comapred to what we are hearing now

  • don't say greatest song' of the 90's when you only have one genre, rock. pop and r & b where the highlights of the 90's, the rock was good, but not worthy of the top ten songs.

  • This is missing Stone Temple Pilots.

  • What on earth you forgot about take that they were crowned the best band since the beatles in the 1990s.

  • you forgot about AC/DC and GNR

  • californication is from the early 00s right?

  • @charliebell01 no it's from 1999.

  • Very good choices man

  • out of all those "melancholly and the infinite sadness" has aged the best. i would put with hendrix "axis bold as love" and nine inch nails "pretty hate machine" as one of my favourite albums. speaking of which i was suprised that NiN aren't featured

  • Great choices

  • Look at album sales, WEEZER, are you serious, tool kills them both in talent, sales, and longevity in music history. Without them the big 90's metal kick off would have never happened. When heavy metal was topping the pop charts and billboard charts. PANTERA, huge influence in the 90's Alice in chains started the Seattle scene, they need more credibility. Facelift debuted in 1990

  • @clutchfloydAIC weezer is so kick ass and original, great 90's music. Tool is awesome as well, but funnily enough all the people in the 90s who were diehard tool fans were fat, don't know why.

  • replace alice in chains with blur and then your list is perfect

  • i was born 1981 and i miss so much 90"s the best years in my life(my teen, wild years)

  • Ineterstate Love Song..........STP ????

    Got to make the list.

  • RIP 90's music. U went before ur time.
