there's something about a gallardo that makes me not like it. i know i will get so much hate for this comment. but from a design standpoint i just think its like a watered down murcialago rather than being its only unique and equally interesting car. for lamborghini money, if i cant have a murcielago, there are so many other cars from other companies id rather have than a gallardo that i couldnt justify such a purchase so even if i was rich i would just never buy one.

i guess you're right. But most people who buy expensive cars like lambo's aren't actual car lovers, they are just rich and think the gallardo is the best way of showing that. At least in the USA the Gallardo somehow became a status symbol, which is good for lamborghinis business but doesn't make any proper sense as you correctly pointed out.
