  • I love this piece so much

  • The first time i listened to this masterpiece i was amazed and when the minute 2:53 came i was shocked the most beautiful song i've ever listened fuck modern music !!! old music i mean classic music is younger than any fucking group now

  • I feel so proud to have my school named after the conductor!

  • thank you for the ruler its very useful

  • I never took the picture although I feel the same.

  • lol im just messing with you

  • ah this song is aweosome

  • This is the same recording I have on cd I think, only this one is sped up I little (which would make sense as it is coming off a record). If you ever hear a better version of this piece I would like to hear it.

  • If it's slower on the CD it is not the same recording. In 1942 this would have been recorded directly onto the record so it's the speed it was played at.

  • this is a good song. i like the portion starting at about 3min into the song don't care so much for the part before that. is there a version where the first part is cut out?

  • No.

  • Lol, played an arrangement of this, much easier. Absolutely enjoyable! I love it! Sounds great on here

  • I played this in Whittier california in the all southern orchestra, in (1986)

    double bass

  • Have you thought about uploading Saturn the bringer of old-age, Uranus the magican and Neptune the mystic on YouTube also?

  • I don't have those ones.

  • ahhh I played this in the metropolitan youth symphony. We also played mars, venus, and mercury. They were all astounding.

  • Man, I played this in high school. It was a much easier arrangement. TSO sounds really good!

  • An amazing recording. Very well done. My 78 hasn't come out so good but there is software available to clean up audio?

  • When i heard this for the first time, i just had to listen to it about 5 times a day. I still listen this almost every day.

  • i love this piece like alot. :]

  • lol we're playing this piece is orchestra its fun i guess haha

  • i love this song, it was actually the first song in our marching band show this year, followed by Con Te Partiro and The Finale from Firebird.

Its an amazing with great parts, especially for a trumpet player.

    :)

  • I love this piece, but i can't find it on cd

  • The 2nd part (the ballad) starting at 02:53 is probably my favorite piece of classical music ever. Thanks for posting this.

  • I love this piece. I played a contemporary arrangement of Mars, Venus and Jupiter for Percussion Ensemble. It was really a lot of fun.

  • Why no Holst's Saturn? It's nowhere on YouTube, it seems..
