The first time i listened to this masterpiece i was amazed and when the minute 2:53 came i was shocked the most beautiful song i've ever listened fuck modern music !!! old music i mean classic music is younger than any fucking group now
This is the same recording I have on cd I think, only this one is sped up I little (which would make sense as it is coming off a record). If you ever hear a better version of this piece I would like to hear it.
If it's slower on the CD it is not the same recording. In 1942 this would have been recorded directly onto the record so it's the speed it was played at.
this is a good song. i like the portion starting at about 3min into the song don't care so much for the part before that. is there a version where the first part is cut out?
OMG!!! I love this piece so much! The whole suite really! And I also have played Holst's First Suite in E Flat in Wind Ensemble. Another great piece! I LOVE YOU HOLST hehehehe! :) Thanks, that made me smile! :) :) :)
I love this piece so much

An amazing recording. Very well done. My 78 hasn't come out so good but there is software available to clean up audio?

The 2nd part (the ballad) starting at 02:53 is probably my favorite piece of classical music ever. Thanks for posting this.

I love this piece. I played a contemporary arrangement of Mars, Venus and Jupiter for Percussion Ensemble. It was really a lot of fun.
