Was thinking about getting this guitar, but it lacks the bright ringing sound I look for in a 12-string.

This song should be a requirement for anyone wanting to play acoustic guitar, and over the years it always takes on the players personal style and feel. I've heard some killer covers of this one. Keep at it man - you're on the right path.

If  Neil watched this, he would nod his head with approval, very good , new artists need to make music like this, one of the reasons I keep my XM radio on classic stations

Thanks pmrlo. It was done with one mic and I tried 3-4 positions to try to get a balance of good guitar sound and voice, without one dominating over the other. Of course, I don't have the voice I had when I was younger, so maybe that's what you're hearing as well. Thanks for the comments though. I appreciate it.

That's some nice playing.Don't know much about recording (or maybe music in general?!), but somehow I think it lacks definition/clarity, specially in the voice. If you can improve that it's going to be perfect.
