  • Atleast she can still cook....

  • Can someone tell me why bull sharks can stay in fresh water but other sharks dont?

  • @brent6corn It can Stay in fresh water when the females can give birth to their young when safe from other sharks Some bull sharks can live in salt water too you know when their young are big they head to salt water

other sharks go to swamps too to give birth and leave their young there

    Information

    I got from a book

  • @Lilicool09 thanks for your knowledge.

  • @crwin419 the boats have a container for dumping poo

  • why i always see some kind of fishing sticking on shark body like they are bodyguard

  • It's stomach was making the rumblies...that only hands would satisfy. lol

  • Fact - nobody ever got attacked by a shark whilst sitting under a tree - stay out of the water!!

  • FUCK THIS I'M NEVER EVER GONNA SWIM IN A LAKE!!!

  • @linyongxiao1995 Lol me too!

  • They need Jeramey Wade!

  • Comment removed

  • A common person shouldn't kill a shark just becuase it's in the river cause they might kill the endangered river sharks in the Glyphis family.

  • the best way 2 not b attacked.......dont go into there home if u get n the water ur intruding n there home dats y ill never get n ne water i used 2 swim n rivers not nemore i always felt nervse n rivers i kinw y now lol but i still love sharks love learnin bout em ^^

  • @terrycruzer i would agree but i still swim in rivers even with the risk its a thrill that and what way is better in getting to now a shark than to swim with one and or get attacked by one hazards of the hobby and the job

  • shark attacks are falling due to recesion lol

  • lmao

  • bull sharks are the only sharks that can survive both fresh and salt water

  • the game jaws is awesome, you can just swim around and eat people :D, kick asss!

    sharks ftw!!!!!!!!!!

  • yea.. i remember.. my mom saw me playing tht game... and i was eating a human and my mum is like " kill that shark!!".. and im like "mum... im the shark.." you shud have seen the ook on her face.... :P:P

  • Looks like they're shark lovers here :D. Yea what Sangree is saying is right. They are the most agreesive of all sharks, and can live in fresh water for a long time. Amazing sharks huh :D,

  • i dont feel bad for her she hit the shark so it bit her hand off, whose fault is it really?

  • di u know that more people get killed by getting chrushed by a sodamachine that getting killed by sharks

  • Sometimes aggressive? NO bull sharks are the number one attackers on humans.

Temporarily in fresh water? NO bull sharks are known to be permanent residents of some lakes.

  • Number one attacker does not mean they are always aggressive. Also i think you'll find dogs attack far more then sharks.

  • rivers not lakes...

  • @Sangre777 They are not just found in lakes but most if not all the rivers throughout the world.

  • @Bobafatt2341 I understand that. I was just trying to illustrate that they aren't temporarily restricted to fresh water.

  • @Sangre777 They are the most aggressive sharks but not the number 1 attackers.

  • @firedrunk24 Sharks are not agressive. It's just nature. Animals eat and get eaten. And sharks need to eat too. If you swim in their waters you should be aware of that. They never attack unless they need to feed. And they eat not that often. Some hunt only every 1-2 weeks. AND: Sharks dont eat humans. If they bite a human they let go of it after that bite, because they dont like humans.

The number 1 attack is by far the humans. And we dont even do it because we are hungry..

  • @Samurailord : ok, but what about human legs, arms etc... found in some shark's stomach? I think sharks eat what they want when they're hungry...

  • @Sangre777 What do you expect from a woman?

  • @Sangre777 I thought it was hippos :D?

  • @Sangre777 nope. They only go in if they are sick or pregnant. They cannot live there for a lifetime.

  • @Sangre777 Lakes? You mean 'open' lakes, connected to the sea by a river?

  • @Sangre777 If they were always aggressive there would be a lot more dead people.....

  • @Sangre777 They're not permanent residents, they watched them jump over a small dam that separates the lake from the ocean. Bull sharks need saltwater to live, or else they die.

  • nothing to worry about, if they get to the west we bomb them.

  • LOL

I never thought a comment on a National Geographic clip could make me laugh out loud...

  • Bull sharks have been caught in lake Eerie. To get there, it had to either be PUT there, or it swam upriver from the Atlantic, and made it's way through the lochs. Amazing. Crazy to think that I surf with them. A ten foot bull was caught about a week ago at Sebastian Inlet, where I surf.........

  • I caught one in the inlet just last week, was not 10 foot though unfortunately =p...

still kinda sketchy to know they are in the inlet

  • Yeah, I was bumped by a big shark, right at First Peak. Couldn't tell what kind it was, but I know it had to be at least 6-8 feet. When it hit me, I pulled my arms and legs up out of the water and saw the tail as it turned away. I saw about two feet of tail, from the top tip, before it was too dark to see the rest of it. It left about a six foot boil on the top of the water, so you know it was big. This was back in '99. I paddled in so fast, then I was back in the lineup ten minutes later.

  • ways to advoid a shark

    1 be calm

    2 wear black

3 if you get scared get out reason y to be cam is about you heart puse

4 dont do anything to a shark

    5 do what sumthinotherthanthat did

  • waht sucks is that you cant see these damn shraks in such muggy rivers

  • yeah tell the people IN the water that, in other words, damn.

  • Amazing!

  • bull sharks have been found 24oo miles up rivers and they breed and the babies are getting more and more used to the freash water and they can live even longer in freash water its fucked up they said that the one in lake michigan swam up the mississippi river into the lake an attacked that guy

  • I don't think they need to get "used" to freshwater as such... They are in fact "euryhaline" in that they can easily tolerate a wide range of salinity (eury=broad, haline=salt) like, for example, Poeciliids (guppies, mollies, etc). Most fish I believe are rather "stenohaline" (steno=narrow).

Jeez I know some useless shit lol

  • lol

  • Mississippi river does not lead to Lake michigan. St. Laurence river leads to the great lakes.

  • well the guy thinks there is an 'a' in fresh, does it surprise you that they do not know what they are talking about!

  • better use a fishing rod. better to safe than sorry

  • The idea for the move jaws come from a Bull shark attack in a river.

  • in Florida during WWI

  • @kewlboy567 the idea for the movie jaws was inspired by great white shark attacks at the new jersey coast around 1916.

  • Looks like the sharks goin for a bit of a curry take out.

  • <--- doyleruless69x . ROFL hahha.

yea thats scary sharks in fresh water

  • There wasn't ever a tiger shark found in Lake Michigan, damn. But there are sharks that live in freshwater for their entire lives, in the genus Glyphis.

  • i used to have a terrorfied nightmare about bullsharks & goblinsharks in a freshwater pool! =0

  • someone plz answer this be4 i swim in that river again.. ok are there bull sharks in the monongahela river???

  • if there is bait fish in the water (more than likely there is) ......have fun swiming.....lol

  • check out the new monster quest its all about sharks in fresh water ! its great

  • ya ok ,,,even cane sharks can live in fresh water your have,, no idea ,, you can even check it out here on yt

  • actually there are sharks that live in freshwater always not just a while

  • yes you are correct

  • Surely a fishing rod would be better rather than loosing a leg?

  • You are a fucking idiot k1971C.

  • Yeah dude shut up. The video's about Bull Sharks not the people.

  • uhh yea sugar queen, your gonna kill a shark in the water, and eat it. right! ok then, dumfuk.

  • if she knew that there was somethin in the water takind people limbs then WHY THE HECK DID SHE GET IN THE WATER!!!

  • to catch fishes! that's how these poor people make a living. not much else to do there.

  • @shobhon plant a seed and water it

  • @shobhon Dont b such a douchenozzle

  • well theres fish in the water

  • she was lucky she was not eaten by the shark :)

  • i love sharks but thats kinda scary

  • I don't know why but I kinda laughed when they opened the sharks mouth lOL

  • Omg me too lol ahahahahah thats so awesome i thought i was the only one

  • 0mg that false

  • omg

  • Did anyone notice that they were dumping burley into the water? Some shark experts say this practice of dumping burley so tourits/locals can watch them is actally contributing to the increase in sightings and attacks.

  • the shark didint bite her... it was man-bear-pig!!!! im cerial!

  • Like supa cerial?

  • lol

  • i wish my name was rocky strong... sounds so cool XD

  • personally i think its amazing how they can survive in salt and fresh, and the fact that they produce almost three times as much in fresh.

  • Yes the white man will take care of everything

  • Ah. so we've studied the situation and dertermined that both shark and humans are using the water to survive. Guess these people couldn't have figured that out

  • Japan, South Korea, Kuwait... just to name a few.

  • Omg, selling newborn baby sharks? Wtf is wrong with these people!?

  • honostly if theres alot of sharks then it really doesnt matter plus children also fish in those rivers so rather the children be safe then the sharks animals breed like crazy but humans are irriplaceable you k now what i mean

  • Okay, first of all it's "a lot" not "alot". And secondly, there aren't a lot of sharks. It's completely unnessisary to kill sharks and sell them that way. We're not just killing

sharks to keep the waters safe, we're wiping out an entire species that's been alive for millions of years. Longer than we have. The fact that we are humans does not give us the right to kill off anything that gets in our way.

We're a greater threat to sharks than they are to us.

  • i'm sure your one of those animal rights activists arent you and you probably believe all animals are cute and cuddly fuck sharks one bites me that fucker will end up as my meal and next pair of boots

  • Rofl, i'd love to see you attempt to survive in the water with a shark.

  • I like sharks, but only from a distance. I would not get in the sea with the things. It's awkward when people are compelled to make a living from river fishing and sharks are sharing the water. You can't keep an eye on a shark in a muddy river.

  • There is gratuitous amounts of humans, and a little amount of sharks. So what if theres kids in the water? Also, humans are the ones that breed like crazy, and are just as replacable as any other animal.

  • and sharks dont breed like crazy they breed very slowley and it takes a long time to reach sexual maturity

  • Notice how when you call a person on their stupidity they never bother to respond Mike? Lol.

  • Go play with you hair care supplies you vapid twat.

  • there's actually a follow-up to this.. it was a snapping turtle..

  • it was not i watched it and it was a sea lion or?.. to come to think of it i think it was a humpback whale.

  • I love sharks they are the most amazing predators they have everything needed to kill

  • it freaky and unbeleievable but sharks are afraid of killer whales O.o

  • i feel bad for sharks people kill them ;_;

  • I feel bad for sharks, people know they are mean but give them a chance ........I guess

    I luv dogs <33333333333333333

  • This is a video about Bullsharks, right? So why then are they mixing footage of the Great White in with it? It's just going to confuse people who don't know sharks.

  • I caught that too....they used a white at the beginning and then again near the end....I guess they thought they could bull their way through the footage!

  • A shark remains a predator, and contact can always result in injury, it's that simple.

People just need to respect that.

  • kool

  • poor lil sharks, those baby bull sharks would taste realy nice tho, not saying go eat one but......

  • This may be common here, but in bays and seas it is extremly rare to be attacked by a shark, the theory is that some sharks mistake us for seals, it's not like they wander around looking fr victims, like the movie JAWS has put into peoples heads.

  • so this is a new kind of shark? have you'll seen that 1 of them shark had a baby shark in her belly?

  • No, its been around but no one really knows about them sompered to a great white.

  • no bull sharks have been doing this for thousands of years they have been found as far up the mississippi river as illinois

  • Okay...I don't like the fact that the deadliest shark to humans likes freshwater, where most people feel safe.

  • They never go for the face:(

  • cool video, if you like sharks check out adoptashark(dot)com where scientists let you adopt a shark that has a satellite tag and you find out where the shark went. They use the money to buy more tags and learn more about sharks

  • That sounds like a really cool idea. Sharks get such a bad rep, they all just need a hug...well maybe not, but they're very understood and people need to stop translating their fear of them into violence against them

  • i agree thats why these beautyful animals are endangered

  • if you know theres fucken "monsters" then dont go in the water :o its their nature, and it was most likely provoked, splashing water, movement and maybe it saw her as a threat and attacked. its their instinct and nature, dont hate on sharks because theyre doing what sharks do in their home/environment. and people kill sharks.. fucken idiots.

  • Screw u sumisaenmilocura Sharks are freakin sweet they sooo cool i hope they never die i hope u get bit

  • Bull Sharks are cool, but I like the Shortfin Mako better ^^'' Result of a report, but I still like them =/. All other sharks are cool too ;DD I hate how much they're killed, and it's sad how they do it DD;

  • makos for the win!

  • sexetary4life

good i fuckin hate sharks. i hope they all die /

U most hate the people , we are worse than sharks.

Sharkgoddes i love your opinion of sharks. The films shows the shark like a kill machine and I´m not agree >_< Save te animals!

sorry for my grammar I´m Spanish

  • sexetary4life u are stupid

  • I have a lot of respect for bull sharks. The few ones I encountered underwater didn't become to curious fortunately.

  • There hasn't been a shark attack on the Windward side of Hawaii

since 1958. Last week a lawyer was bitten. He was a lawyer.

The shark let him go-"professional courtesy."

  • good i fuckin hate sharks. i hope they all die

  • You the guy are absolutely right. I speak about the God. Sharks (as well as some other kinds of ancient organisms) are the anachronism, survived of last epoch of fauna. Yes! When the God does a scolding to our planet, sometimes there are "strangers". To us to spite. Excuse - for the text. Studied under the British Lgn textbooks.

  • dio cane!

  • there was actually a shark caught about a month ago near St.Louis in the Missorui river

  • JAPANESE PEOPLE>SHARK

Ever heard of SHARK FIN SOUP? Yes sharks, you better be afraid. For teh evil chefs will chop you up SLOWLY ONE BY ONE.

(Btw, Shark Fin Soup is actrully really good.)

  • yeah, give the fact that freshwater is less dense than salt water, bullsharks would become more powerful when they go into freshwaters. yikes. ever wonder how they would go against pirhanas? they would lose in my opinion.

  • shark would win; they have armor and they would scatter the skittish piranha

  • Bull sharks are like Pitbulls of the waters

  • Stupid retarded people. If they go fishing then they deserve to be attacked. They are stealing the sharks food so the shark has no choice. The shark has to eat something anyway. Its the food chain afterall.

  • you are stupid and retarded yourself...do you think the people have a choice?

  • The people should stop producing and just die out, then they wouldnt be in that situation you dumbfuck.

  • oh wow..why don't you just kill yourself and see how you like it?

  • Now you're just being stupid.

  • lol...you must be kidding, reread your statements before you send jabs at me

  • hahaha you're making me laugh. You need to look at the facts.

  • what facts?..that you are fat and stupid?

  • hahahaha dont call me fat you obese redneck.

  • im not white ..and im hundreds of miles away from the nearest redneck

  • you must be new form of redneck then.

  • np67, the best solution is to gather up racist pigs like you, fatten you up, feed you and the rest of your kind to the poor & starving. At least some good will come of your parents raising you.

  • DUDE! on 1:46 that indian dude is from wildboyz he was talking about that thing of having sex with animals rofl!!!

  • I once read they've been sighted in the Mississippi as far north as St. Louis.

  • You read wrong.

  • that's pretty fucking cool that the shark can swim in both waters that's awesome !

  • attacks without warning? well its hardly gonna jump out of the water, let off an air horn, scream i'm gonna come eat you now you lil sod and then swim up n eat you is it?

  • of course bull sharks are aggressive, they have the highest testosterone levels of any animal...

  • Not just that, but can go in both salt and flash water, which makes them the most dangour shark in the world

  • I've heard stories about bull sharks in rivers before... kinda scary. >_<
