It actually looks pretty good. I'm a big fan of games that give you a lot of freedom. I disagree the this game is bad. If you want to play something bad, get Superman 64 or something. This game is OBVIOUSLY not shovelware. Hopefully, when Nintendo moves to the Next Gen, they'll keep shovelware under control. The 3DS already looks like it'll have a solid library of titles. If it's from EA, it's obviously no joke.

I didn't watch it, I stopped about a minute in. Most of the modern CGR reviews I ignore & skip over, I don't mind them or complain. But Undertow is another story, I'm well aware of the other channel, and having that kids reviews pop in here is not going to entice me to subscribe to it.

It's annoying getting Undertow videos in my subscription modules when I'm not subscribed to it.

This guy seems to be focusing on everything we usually don't get (and don't want) from this channel... The review itself wasn't that.....bad (ok, it really wasn't that good), but it's so far from what we expect it was really bad.

Simple review: this is "Sims for kids", but can still be enjoyed by anyone used to the Sims' premise. It is an enjoyable game, but is rather time-consuming. It is also available on the DS, and some of the controls are made harder by having to use the Wii's controller.

My only real issue with the title is that it seems to be strangely hardware taxing. It puts more stress on the Wii than just about any other game I have on the system.

It's like it wasn't optimized and rushed to market.

After long sessions with this particular game, I get all these strange issues with the console.

It could have been amazing with a few more months of dev time, much like a lot of Wii games . . .

My guess is that this is Mark's son, and that the undertow channel wasn't getting the views they wanted. While I typically don't watch the undertow videos for more than a minute or so, I can see why they would share the channel. Honestly it takes less effort to move the the next video than to whine and complain. I do appreciate that they do title the videos with CGR Undertow, so you do know what to expect when you view the video or skip it.

I'm subscribed to the CGRundertow channel, so I like Derek's reviews.

Even so, I don't really see a point in merging the 2 channels together.

Mark and Derek do reviews differently, and generally cover different systems. So if I want a certain style of review, I go to the appropriate channel.

I just prefer things being separate, because it's simpler that way.
