Heineken's targets are young, hip, happy people while BMW targets wealthy men and esquire families. So creativity isn't key importance here. What they wanted to show you was that if you own a BMW, you're a successful business man with style.
@thedevo01 Yes I agree it isn't supposed to be a "hip,funny" ad because this is serious,they are trying to show us a technological revolution here. Its making the car look beautiful & they very well showed how it will change the way we interact with our cars. But see my point regarding the concept of this ad is that they're trying to show how intelligent & smart the owner of this car is but sorry to say HE IS NOT! I don't want this guy to simply steal the necklace when the jeweler "isnt looking"
@thedevo01 That is how teenagers steal stuff from stores simply when the shopkeeper isn't looking. With this car,with this never-seen-before technology & the image of bmw cars gives me the right to expect something intelligent,something I hadn't seen before alongwith the car! Not what amateurs do! I wish to see something like or atleast close to james bond! & its not my fault,this car wants me to expect something like that. This ad should've been SMART & left us thinking!!
