@thewilliamgregg The DLCs advise you to be a certain level before starting them. I'd advise you to be at least level 20. Obviously you can't start the Broken Steel quests until you've finished the main game anyway.

The level of customization was better, there were more weapons, the general coding was better with far less bugs, the AI of your followers was better, the story was better, the level of difficulty was greater.
