Great game with great characters all with their own backstory. However the endings are too short. I would have liked them to have longer endings like you get in Street Fighter and Killer Instinct when each character got a detailed ending.

I loved this game. I always thought the extra effort to create personalities for the racers was great idea. I used to pay as Gomar and Shioh "Two drivers are always better than one!" :D The music was perfect for this game too.

Nintendo has said, that both, the James McCloud from Starfox and F-Zero, are "different characters, yet, still the same". It's one of those funny things that they decide to throw together.

And his machine, does look like a "Old modelled R-Wing" from the Stafox universe.

And in F-Zero GX, he looks even more like a fox. And, well... He does have a son too (and a wife). His sons name has never been revealed, but in the anime he does say "My son is like a sneaky fox you know" and then he laughs.
