  • Really marvellous. Hats off to you people for maintaining of such a natural ecosystem. Please preserve it, because it is not the case with my country India, where concrete jungles are made so fast that they dont care about nature.

  • The capital of Bhutan is Trongsa and Bumthang till the 1950's - the end of 2nd king's and start of of 3rd king's reign. When the country is not even unified, the capital was Punakha resided.

  • yes, we did debate about this for awhile, as Punakha was in fact the winter capital before the 1950s... we should have been more clear and said "winter" capital....thanks for watching and pointing it out.

  • During the era of Zhabdrung and centuries after, the capital was Punakha. Gradually with Trongsa became the center of power, although the seat of the Desi still remained in Punakha, so in effect Punakha was still the capital until the reign of Druk Gyalpo Ugyen Wangchuk, and in the time of the second king, capital was definitely in Bumthang and Trongsa.

Now a days, capital is in Om Bar and Space 34. LMAO
