you are pressing the bow on to the strings too hard at the beggining when u want to start a new string.

Yes it does plug into an amp, and you can use any guitar pedal with it... :-)

DO you have 2.5-3K because that's about what the damn thing cost. Just buy a Fender electric and fit it with frets. You'll have the exact same sound and feel for less than 1K

Or, YOU could get an ear and know that the Fender pickup sounds like crap. Lets see.......12 pickups directly under the strings..versus.one pickup under the bridge.........? Handmade...versus Machine manufactured...self supporting versus annoyingly uncomfortable?

You can order it with either 4 5 6 or 7. Mark builds all kinds! It just depends on which one is best suited for you.
