I am an atheist, I also dont believe in the message, but I take it as if this is sung for some "King", lol! conclusion is, the song is perfect, and the way they sing, it makes this song priceless, "Orphaned Land" is the best band in my favorite list, they r simply awesome.

They've got a handful of amazing songs, instrumentally i'd all songs are good. My only gripe is with that silly doom/death metal growling one can hear in majority of their songs, which really ruins everything. Why indulge in that immature growling whilst having such obviously excellent singing voices.

I love this band eventhough i dont understand hebrew but i heard an arabic folk song using the same music but different words and i know that the hebrew lyrics are much deeper in meaning and sound much better so ..

this song is jewish piyut,written in syria but sung by many congregations, mostly at weddings and other happy events.

the song opening with praising the lord, and with praying to get the ancient days.

further, the wriiter asks for forgivance for his sins, but he is shure and believe that the lord will pardon him.
