  • I'm waiting to buy a 36W lamp with a built in timer =)

  • @Amandandoug shoot me message and let me know what you think of the 36w, I might purchase one in the near future! Still on the fence about it

  • To remove the tacky residue do u need to use alcohol? Or just wipe it?

  • @yengbren they sell gel cleaner, which actually has a nice lemony scent, but yes you can use alcohol, or a h20/alcohol mixture instead.

  • @prkypink how do u take the bulb out :) i just got mine in a lina kit and cant manage to take it out any tips??

  • How do you put the bulb in? I have exactly tr same one x

  • @StarsNRockets64 there isn't an exact science to it, the lamp itself does NOT open, so you have to gently work it in thru the opening. Try positioning the bulb where your 1st finger is on the far end of the bulb an the bulb is resting on your middle & ring finger. You have to align the connection pieces and slide it in there, use your 1st finger to push the bulb into place. Its a little awkward seeing the space it so small, just don't drop the bulb!

  • Can you use this to set regular nail polish? Not just for UV polish? Thanks

  • @slayerkt1978 I suppose you can, I've heard of people using lamps for polish, but polish does air dry so you do NOT need to purchase a uv lamp

  • this probably seems like a silly question but can you use this in regular acylic nails? or is this just for gel nails? i wouldnt ask but im getting a little mixed up :S

  • @LithiumVanity you would use a lamp to cure UV gel, or a uv gel topcoat. Any product that you buy will clearly state that it must be cured in a uv lamp. If the product description does NOT state this, then you have no need for the uv lamp. I have heard of people using uv lamps to dry polish and other things, but I do NOT use my lamp for this purpose.

  • @prkypink thanks!

  • Thankyou so much for your help~ Im going to order a lamp from ebay now too!

  • after i cure with top coat . it become sticky.. and after i wipe it with cleanser plus, all shine dissepear :s

  • i noticed, in one of the comments, u said u are usin the Lina brand. Is it a soak off or file off gel? And did you see a difference with using your primer (when it finally came in)? Last question, how do you clean ur brushes? Can I just use the 90% alcohol?

  • I'm going to order one of these two after seeing this video :) I wasn't sure if I should buy it because people said the ones from ebay aren't good but if you say it is then I'm willing to try! :)

it'll cure a gel top coat for acrylic nails too, right? :)

  • I just recently got back into doing acrylic and gel nails,I got my UV lamp, gel, tips and glue. I'm waiting on my primer and drill to get here and it's driving me absolutely crazy!!! lol

  • I thought the video was very informative =)

I also ordered a lot of similar items from ebay! What kind of gel did you buy?

  • @joskia how is your stuff working out for you? I bought the lina brand off of ebay. It worked just fine for me. :) Its NOT professional quality if that's what your looking for!

  • @prkypink I just purchased the same brand from Ebay. I have seen several on YouTube using the Lina brand UV Gel products without problem so I'm hopeful ^^

I've tried to look up the company Lina but no luck.

  • @Amandandoug I don't think they have company website, I found the Lina brand on ebay, just search uv gel, I'm sure you'll see the label on the jar in a photo or two.

  • Kewl ...I just bought one off of Ebay 18.00
