if they keep making it feel liek that shitt remake of battlestar galactica, they will lose me after the second episode. this isnt stargate, this is a major disappointment. stargate should be better than that, and not try to copy the style of that dumb remake of galactica, that is way overrated. gives us back stargate as it should be

true, but SG1 and SGA both met their enemies in the first episode, now don't say that I shouldn't compare it to those 2 because, when it decided to take on the name of Stargate that's what it gets compared to. Maybe they should have called it something else, then people would not judge it by that franchise. Now I don't hate SGU but it's not my type of show...Out of all the shows I watch SG1 has to be the most serious

@OCtrackiepac Sg1 was the original i dident like Sga it wanted to be SG1 too bad and that kinda made it feel like a lame knock off SGU had a new feel it was a new idea not the same reused scenario. they could have taken it somewhere good but no one wanted to watch it

The New SGC base should be on the moon,ask the tokra for tunneling crystal tech & in a few months you might have a functioning SGC & plus you might have enough room to add several drydocks for X-303,304 & now thta we possess the Asgard database have the blueprints to rebuilt the Asgard O'Neill & jackson class battleships.

okay, so i saw the premire for Stargate Universe...and i thought it was very retarded...that show will never beat Stargate SG-1...it doesn't have the people that make Stargate amazing.....(RDA) Jack O'Neill and (AT) Samantha Carter...ect.

Pilots these days are always slow and don't always reflect its true potential(although SG1 and SGA did) I'd give a few more shot before I skip it. But RDA is a legend and can't be matched up against

they still have sg-1 movies but its only being delayed beacause their waiting for a good timing to release it.....their planning on relocating the sgc in the 3rd sg-1 movie..well bec of this and the real world cheyyene mountain complex is about to close
