Not a bad guitar, but i expected a bit more. I am used to electric guitar necks but I have tried a couple of acoustics before. I don't like the feel of the neck, It's obviously a bit chunkier and strings are a tad too close to each other. But overall, you can't get a better piece of equipment for this price. Luckily I've got it free from a friend that wanted to learn to play but gave up on it despite me almost begging her not to. Lucky catch ;)
Just to let you know, I have just uploaded a video of this guitar. You can get a better close up look at the parts and materials used and there is a clip of me playing it too! Thumbs up if it helps you as I know there are no other videos out there that show it close up :)
@MsNeutral198 Depends on how small you are. It is a full-size dreadnought guitar. Having said that, the neck is quite slim so suitable for smaller hands. If you want a smaller bodied guitar then you should go for a "folk" body. This is physically smaller and easier to reach over and play. Rgds
Would this guitar be the best of it's price range, as I'm looking a nice guitar for my birthday in 3/4 weeks and I found this one in the Argos catalogue and it sounds very nice and how would this one range with the best guitars on the market? Just want a good guitar at a reasonable price.
@PKMovies127 Hi, glad you like our video. The F310 is by far the most popular guitar in its price bracket and is a firm favourite for beginners. Basically you can't go wrong by choosing this guitar. Disappointed to see you might buy from Argos though. Please support local independent music shops (like us). I doubt very much that Argos could produce an informational video like ours, one which provides expert and impartial advice. Cheers, Graeme.
Hey I recently bought this guitar. I have put up a review on my channel too if you want to look at it a little closer. But thank you RikkisMusicShop, this video was the one that convinced me to get it.
@SypherDubstep Hi, you may not believe it but a huge amount of effort went into producing these review videos. It was our first effort though, and we know there is room for improvement. We're sure they'll be better next time. Keep on rockin'.
@RikkisMusicShop Nothing wrong with that price, that is exactly what Amazon and Argos are retailing it for. I do apologise Rikki, i bought it on Amazon for Black Friday for £80, but when i get up to a higher level i will definitely be popping in.
@micholly Hi there, You've made a very good choice by purchasing the F310. Good luck with learning to play and looking forward to seeing you in Rikki's Music Shop some time in the future. Regards.
@EP1CSR00MAGE Hi, Sounds like it could be a trick question to us :-) As you probably know we are UK based but can ship to EU countries no problem. We can also ship worldwide but cost can become an issue. Please contact the shop if you want to know more details about a specific enquiry. Cheers, Graeme
@EP1CSR00MAGE most guitar shops in the u.k stock this guitar,i have never regretted buying this guitar,i went and paid £500 pounds on a guild gad 25 and although its all mahogany not laminate like the yamaha i just cant put the yammy down, the neck is so comfertable and it stays in tune, agreat buy
I'm 16 and have been playing bass for about 5 years. I can play the basics on guitar and mess about on my mates. I wanna get an acoustic and start learning guitar properly, i have been looking at the yamaha F310 and the yamaha FG700s which one would you recommend or are there any other acoustics that would be better suited?
hello sir u people are really amazing and helpful for beginners like me..
i am also planning to buy a guitar, i like the Yamaha F310, but need ur advice for further steps.. should i proceed with it or u would recommend me some more guitars within the same price range...
@kajaria22 Hello. The F310 is one of the best selling guitars in the world in this price range. It is an excellent choice and you really can't go wrong if you choose to buy it. You may also like to take a look at the Westfield B200 (slightly cheaper) but we would recomend the F310 over the B200. Cheers, Graeme.
Hello im a beginner and i saw to guitars that im interested The one is this Yamaha F310 and the other one is the Ibanez SGT120 Sage series. I have a problem finding the second one in greece and online is the shipping very expencive. What of those to is better for me and for quality.?
Great video :D, i just have two questions: tge first is how often would a guitarist use the closest frets to the body because i cant find many guitars that i like with cutaways (this guitar i like alot actually) and the second one is how much does a yamaha guitar cost on average?
@bradsear Hello and thank you so much for taking interest in our product listings and reviews , Much appreciated ! You wouldn't use the frets high up very often unless you want to improvise in your own style ....A yamaha guitar costs on average around £200.00, All the best Dude , take it easy ....
@iMikeey Hi Mikee, thanks for your interest in our products, I would pick the Yamaha over the b200 , B200 hundred is good as well it has a fatter neck than the Yamaha, Which has a slimmer neck that feels very good, cheers, Chris.
@RikkisMusicShop Hi dear, u r making a gud way by submitting the review for the instruments. i wanna purchase an acoustiic guitar... do u have Epiphone PR150 available in ur shop ? and also tell me that which one u prefer morem Yamaha F310 or Epiphone PR150/ Epiphone AJ100 ?

What would you recommend a Yamaha C40 or F310?
thesauli1995 8 hours ago
Big Hands shouldn't hinder you on the guitar , probably the contrary , you will have a huge stretch for chords. Enjoy and best of luck ...

Yes, i like the FG700s more, but what if i live in hot weather? will it damage the solid body or change anything?
in this case would you recommend a solid top or laminated top ?
Thanks.
