It's weird how people record videos of their birds talking chirping and kissing. Imagine if the birds recorded us talking kissing and socializing. That would be weird right? By the way cute parakeets.
@momovomo you have to leave your hand in the cage for about 2 weeks at most then you put ur finger close to there bottom belly and gently push up and get them on your finger repeat this prossess
just regularly push your finger gently under their bellies and they'll step onto it. If a bird does not want to move though, don't force it, you may hurt it.
how did u get your birds to get on your finger i have had my 2 birds for 4months know and they have not done much they just sit on the swing and play with the toys i have out for theme. plus they just sit in the food i have out for theme and they make a mess every help me out with some tips please...........

Sweetest, most wonderful little creature I've ever encountered (and I've met many). They really do have very different personalities- my sister's budgie is a right little vicious monster! We've been very good to him, best of food, toys, treatment, companionship, handling from a young age, but some birds just have an ATTITUDE! lol
To get the parakeet to go on your hand, you have to train them when they're still an infant. You can tell if it's an infant by looking at its nose. you should look for a one that has a white nose.
To get the parakeet to talk human, you have to Constantly talk to it when it's still an infant. Also, you can't have two parakeets next to each other or else it will copy its friend instead of yours/human human voice.

@Katkootahmed normally it does take parakeets a long time to get used to you, it took my dad about 8 months- a year 1\2 to break our budgie, what he done is every day go up to there cage whistle play peek-a-boo or whatever with them untill a while they started back and got used to him, then he was able to let them on his hand

English Budgies are similar to Parakeets but they are much easier to train.
The male Budgies are the easiest to train. They have blue noses and are very noisy.
The females have pink or brown noses. However, the females are more quiet.
The males would scream ALL DAY

I love how the male's feathers always puffing out when he is flirting. My parakeet just started making that muffled noise. His girlfriend passed away last November, 2010.
