  • that sounds lovely. i'm sure your girl will enjoy the conference too (not just all the freebies) ;)

  • She'll Twitter her true feelings.. so we'll see ;)

  • love how you did the title with the candles! very pretty!!!! baked potato with toppings.. yum. funny thats what we are having tonight! (no kidding) isn't unfair how crap the singing/music comes out on a camera! ah well!! :)

  • That candles were near the entrance of the building & the soft glow of the candles around the place created a lovely atmosphere. We all received a little 'gift bag' too.. which had a zip (wasn't paper or anything). It had a tiny lip gloss, a chockie bar, a sachet of milo.. and a few other things. Funny you should comment on this in 2009 because I now have the invitation for Passion 2009. Except it's a 1night hotel stay this time, not 2. Thiking of taking my girl as they have....

  • i was wondering when the next passions was on ;)

  • 2/ ..a couple of special 'sessions' called "Girlfriends" there. Didn't know they catered for the younger girls until I attended last year. We will have the same amount of conference time this year, but coming home Sat night instead of Sunday lunch time. Means we miss out on our own private 'debriefing' girls session Sunday morning (which I found so valuable) - but I guess it's not costing as much. I think I'll enjoy my girl being there. A friend has expressed coming in our car with her girl2!

  • The beds r so funny

  • Looks like you had a great time - cool to get a way - esp twice in such a short time frame :)

  • Hi! Being away twice felt luxurious and stressful at the same time if that makes sense? Partly because my girl wasn't with me and she also fretted for me a bit. In hindsight though I mostly have good memories :) I learned while away I could have taken my daughter to the conference - they had a special "20yrs and under" group called "Girlfriends" with their own speakers and activities.

  • I think the dinner was the best after the Conference!Look`s delicious.mmmh.

  • Hello! I didn't really like the meal I chose which I felt was too 'safe' being Chicken Parmagiana - but of course I then admired everyone elses meals :-/ !! Thanks for watching! :)

  • The meal looked yummy! Sounds like you had a great time! :)

  • My first reply sounded sarcastic when I read it.. but it wasn't, sorry Maryann! It was probably a silly question anyway, re: baked potatoes and toppings! I enjoyed the afternoon tea spread on the final day the most. More choices.. but I wasn't quick enough to get any 'sausage rolls'. They're an Australian snack food! Probably better for me that I missed out ;) Supper on the first night was Original Glazed Krispy Kreme doughnuts (oh my...!)

  • You didn't seem sarcastic! It's just always about the food with me! LOL :)

  • Looks like a great time had by all!

  • Yup, thanks Jenny :)

  • Jenny I perused your book online, it's beautiful!! :)
