Nice review! I am considering purchasing this watch but there is no where that sells them in my city. Is the watch bulky, will it fit under a dress shirt sleeve? How heavy is the watch can it be worn during golf or other activities? I am considering this or a tag grand carrera, any advice?
not bad, of course there is better zenith watches.what do you think about defy extreme sea (black titanium with blue details) is guess no one has that one but i know a lot of people with no money that wants it but of course there is no a replica for that one, so that is good about it ,if u get it there is not decent copies i think not even bad ones so id be nice if u buy one of those and another that is really nice is the defy clasic open steel and gold black inside and black leather strap
You overlooked errors that discount this watch as a serious diver:
1. Poor bezel design, useless 60 engraving so you cannot set the bezel precisely.
2. Small seconds, bad idea on a diver -- hard to read and then set up the following dilemma: Either have skeleton hands to read secibds but minimize lume, as in this watch, or else have full lume hands which make seconds impossible to read for many minutes a day (as implemented on the black version of this exact model!!).
Absolutely not. First of all, it is a diving watch due to its water resistance rating. Second, the bezel is there to be used, which it can't with the useless 60, third small seconds are a bad idea on a "sports" or diving watch, as I explained.
How does having a High water resistance make a watch a Diver? That makes no sense at all. Next thing you are going to tell me that the whole Breitling Windrider line of watches are Divers, when they are in fact aviation inspired watches simply because they have water resistance in the 300m-500m range - simply ridiculous.
If the watch is not a diver, the bezel is simply there for decoration and style, and possibly casual use for non-diving applications.

If the bezel is there for non-diving applications, then it should not be unidirectional. The unidirectional bezel is intended solely to conform to diving standards. In fact, bidirectional diving bezels were common until recently, eg, on the Rolex Submariner 5513 until about 1986.
This confirms the lack of thought that Zenith put into this very expensive watch.
Based on your rational, if the bezel is there for non-diving applications it should just be fixed. Now we are just arguing stupidity because who CARES if it is unidirectional or bidirectional if you are not going to use it anyway?
@breitlingsource Il ove the idea of the date being able to go forwards or backwards. I've never known a watch to do this and when I played with one in a store and discovered that it could do this, the rep just said 'no don't do that' to me. Obviously he doesn't know about the function. Is this COSC certified?
@breitlingsource This timepiece must really be seen in the flesh to be truly appreciated. It's very nice and classy, but for the price I wish it was COSC certified. Being a 'Manufacture' is a good start though. How accurate is the timekeeping on this?
@italomagic1 COSC certification is overrated in my opinion, but it does help sell watches. The Zenith is extremely accurate, but I haven't timed it in years. I would say that it was within COSC specs when I did.
how much does it cost? i couldn't find anything about the price of this watch, but i suppose it is a bit cheaper than the open models that start arround 7500 at jomashop. please answer me! thanks

But... the watch isn't a diving watch, so everything you said is irrelevant.

This is such a useless and moot point.

@ilanpi look at a model such as the bulova 98a109. it has a unidirectional bezel but is only rated for 100m. clearly not a diving watch

@breitlingsource I've been offered this exact watch BNIB for $5,000 AUD. Do you think it's a good deal. Also , is it COSC Certified as a chronometer?

@italomagic1 Seems on the high side.
