I stay on route 205 near the valley wind work after flying to floaroma town when mesprit appear on route 205. it ran to route 203 after i reach floaroma. but i kept on cycling around on route 205. mesprit slowly change places and getting near and nearer to me and i catch it on the grass of route 204 after some encounter with another wild pokemon. stop chasing it with fly. it will kept on moving like that.

@alishankher First go underground (using explorer kit) and mine some heart scales. Then go to Pastoria city and visit the move tutor (bottom right house). If u have a pokemon that can learn mean look, like golbat or hunter, he will teach it to your pokemon in exchange for a heart scale. I hope i helped :)

After so many tries i reduced Dialga's HP to ~12-25 or so, had it paralyzed, and just threw regular Poke Balls at it until it gave up, (I practically removed it's accuracy beforehand with ten or so Flashes, and just healed any of my party if they got damaged.) I've done the same to Azelf (and every other Pokemon I've ever caught in the entire game(s) (excluding those caught in the Safari Zone)) and I plan on doing the same for the other two. The idea is to use Mean Look to stop it fleeing.

I know that sounds terribly arduous but in the long run it's pretty cool. (I used up like 40-60 Pokeballs) But it was okay because I was using a DS Emulator on my PC and set the clock speed to like x4 or some thing (so it didn't take to long)

the way i did it is in jubilife city there is a road leading to a route... i went to there and found the spot where the route started and the town ended and kept going up and down.... when finaly mesprit was west of jubilife city i went and found him... when going west of jublife there is one of those short corridor things i went thro and there was water .. surf on the water and when u get a pokemon i should be mesprit.... sometimes its a tentacruel or somthing else..

you can catch without a masterball by getting a golbat in victory road. golbats know mean look and it will prevent it from fleeing

That Mesprit is a pain in the ass. Although I am unsure if I should save my Masterball for Giratina, Creselia, or Heatran.

I mean to catch Creselia, you need to do the same as with Mesprit. You have to chase it all over the place.

For the Master Ball, either use it on Mesprit or Cresselia. If you can get a second, use it on the latter since you need the former for the National Dex. Giratina and Heatran don't run so you can face them multiple times.

Oh well thanks but I already caught every single legendary Pokemon in Diamond.

Right now my main task is to complete my entire National Dex (which is getting harder as I don't have any of the GBA ones to migrate).

I just need to catch this damn Miltank which only has a 2% appearing rate. But I will eventually catch it. I also need to evolve some of my other Pokemon for the dex.

Actually, the app. that you get depends how far you've progressed in the game. I don't know how far you need to be to get the marking map, but I had seen 145 pokemon and had been to the pokemon league.

You can get it before the elite 4 so all you need is a marking map from jubilife or whatever you call it go in the place with the big wide sreen building and talk the the guy infront of the counter on the right then talk to him, if he doesnt give you it talk to him again. then go to jubilife then down over and over again

Not really,it's just that if there's any light,the DS's screen will act like a mirror,reflecting any light to the camera,and you'll see more of the camera(or anything else that behind it) than the actual game
