I was working there that night and saw the whole set up before the game. Even though alot left after the game, it was still a great night, even better than the Dublin football game before it ;)
i was there.. best ever!!! the whole thing may have been better if the dubs won... but what can you do... great match all the same we played our hearts out.... proud to be irish and even more proud to be a dub! :D but if theres someone to loose to its the all ireland champs!:D
It's only right that something spectacular be done to celebrate 125 years of an organisation which through sheer simplicity, honest hard work, and the contribution of volunteers, has been the heartbeat of Irish culture through the strife, oppression, and changes of the last 125 years of Irish history.
Oh my god this makes me so proud to be Irish its unreal, nearly crying watching it aswell. No fcukin recession as long as we have the GAA. Raging i wasn't there looks like it was a brilliant night, hopefully the GAA will have more special nights like this. No-one seems to begrudge them for the amount of money they spent on it, only for the shame that RTE did not have the rights to show it and so very few people at home really got to see it.
ireland wouldnt be the same without the gaa, makes me so proud to be irish watching this.good on the gaa for putting on this show in spite of the costs, the gaa deserves to be acknowledged and celebrated.hers to the next 125 years!

Being there on the night was amazing. Can't beat a good game in croker followed by this like! & This is only a taster of what was there! Heres to the 125 years past& next 125 years!
For one of the truths about the many lies told about Germany.
Google:
The Liberation of the Camps: Facts vs. Lies by Theodore J. O' Keefe.
If you want the facts go to Institute for Historical Review (ihr.org) and click on their archives.
Germany has been lied to and lied about.

how do you get the lights to go with the music, is it preset beforehand or is there someone doing it as they go along.
diaduit73 3 years ago
Pre-set. Larry Mullins from U2 wrote the music especially for the night.
