I think @BM2Hixon has no clue what a Power Wagon is, model years available, options (he probably doesn't even know what a electronic sway bar disconnect is or what electronic lockers mean) and probably not even worth trying to explain it to him.
Are you for real? What you just said is like saying that a hummer h1 is just a built up Toyota land cruiser. Before you post something stupid again do some research first. This truck is a 2006 powerwagon. 06 headlights are obvious since they were made for only one year. 07-09 are the same. Get your shit straight
@BM2Hixon I don't know what you do for a living but its obvious you don't have a clue about the auto industry. stick to what you do best and stay out of speculating on Chrysler products. You must have been talking out of your ass because your mouth should have known better.
@BM2Hixon Wow! I think you're clueless about the power wagons period! Why don't you look up 06 power wagon anywhere on the net? I own an 06 power wagon myself.
@BM2Hixon You're pretty good at guessing the age of the vehicle, now go look up what a Power Wagon is. That's what GOOGLE is for. Instead of making idiotic remarks and giving the disclaimer "dont quote me on that tho lol", go look it up first, don't be lazy. "POWER WAGONS, THEY REALLY DO EXIST."
Owning one of these may bias my opinion. But seeing all 4 wheels turning with one burning in this video gives me a woody. And the best thing of all is the little switch that disconnects the F. sway bar. No getting out and un-hooking stuff...
Not even close. The Fx4 is just a name to make you think you're buying something better than a 4x4 but your not. FX4 = Four X 4. It's marketing for just a 4wheel drive truck. The PowerWagon can't even be compared to it.
I agree with that, just because it say's 4x4 or FX4 does in no way mean it can go though a muddy hole with out getting stuck. If it doesn't have a locking differential then it’s not a true Off-Road vehicle.
Right, The FX4 is has a more upscaled interior than the Ford STX. But it's got nothing to do with the 4WD capability.
If there's anything missing from the PowerWagon it would have to be a Diesel option. The 6.7L Would be a perfect option along with a cast iron version of the 8.4L V10.
@Skippy585 The diesel?? I know lots of people would love it, but i think its to heavy. The only time I've wished i had the cummins so far is for pulling. The PW pulls fine but the fuel mileage is retarded. Now if there was an option for the 6.1 I'd jump all over that.
I hope you know that the larger 6.1 torque peak is somwhere north of 4500 RPMS. They would have to re cam that motor.
As a matter of fact the 6.7L ISQ Cummins is just a bored out version of the 5.9 and there's really not a big difference in weight. I still think it would be a good option if not for a smaller diesel such as it's brethren 4.5 I4 or a big block 508 cid V10
@cyberx21 FX4 is an option package that includes rancho shocks and skid plates along with shift on the fly 4x4. the ride is kinda harsh but its a nice "out of the box" mudding or trailride package but i agree the 'wagon is better (and im a ford guy) lol
no fx4 is just badging, a skid plate, and all-terrain tires. the power wagon is lockers front and rear, forged wheels, skid plates, a winch, all-terrain tires, and badging not just a sticker real badging.
good vids boys...i just got my PowerWagon wicked stuck last night...on the side of a mtn in the middle of a crazy snow storm....she got bottomed out...needed another 4" of lift and some 38" Artic tires hahah...had to get a tractor with a bucket to from about a mile down the road to get me out, took him like 2hrs...quite a mission!, happy trails
I would never expect my Z71 to get through all of that. I bow to your superiority, sir.

@Skippy585 Agreed. False advertising. At max 4X3 if your limited slip is working. 2X2 without!! PW 4X4 all the way.
