hey dude i recomend a few things

1) get like someone from a local music shop who plays drums to tune them for you

2) you won't have to change heads if someone tunes it properly for you (well unless they have holes in them)

3) invest in drum microphones + mixing desk get a perfectly decent pair for around £600 and they massivley increase the joy for other people :)

4) use other people's drum video's for teaching like my cover of this song (/watch?v=0kksnn2Hxdo)

5) don't listen to haters :) x

nice drum cover! some advice:

make your floor tom lower. it'll help you play faster and more accurate.

get better cymbals, iv'e never heard of "Solar" but Paiste is the way to go.

don't speed up like you did at the last minute, think ahead

your snare is pretty boomy, might wanna get a new head (Remo Controlled Sound Dot Snare Heads are AMAZING at stopping overtones) and put in some of your own style in the songs. i'm just a drummer who is probably younger than you (14) but still great advice!

@xpinkdrummerx I wouldn't say Paiste, because they're really expensive, as are Zildjians and Sabians, but those tend to be the best sounding for what it seems like you want to do. Dream does really cheap cymbals, but you just gotta find what sounds good to you.

Also, get a new snare head, not cause it's boomy, but cause the coating's gone in the middle. Looks like mine, and I need a new one.

you would actually be surprised about how effective those headphones are !!

they're "in ear" headphones and they are fantastic !! i even use them when im practicin with my band and just don't plug em in to anythin

not once have i had ringin in my ears after playin drums since usin in ear headphones , would totaly recommend them to any drummer

I use skull candy in ear headphones and they work great, 20 dollars to block any high pitched sounds and I can hear my music great while I play. I vouch for your opinion!
