  • i just saw satin.

  • When my cat Cleo does that she sounds like Xena

  • lool soo wierd

  • I love your accent :D and your kitten is cute

  • Cats do that when they see prey like rodents or birds. They try to fool the prey into thinking the cat is harmless, it's called "Clicking". Caught my cat Jecht doing the same thing lol. They also do it when people have something that they want.

  • ok is he on drugs because his mouth is going crazy

  • amaaasing

  • My mom's cat does this when he can't get to something. Something like a rapid wah-wah-wah-wah-wah-wah sound. Its hilarious!!

  • LMFAO, my cat did then when she saw a bug, so funny

  • What I have heard is cats instinctivly do this to either confuse their prey or draw them closer.

  • my cute cats do this watching birds outside

  • whoa the cats look almost exactly the same.....i had a kind of deja vu moment lol

  • my cat plays fetch with me!!!!

  • Cant hear the cat! D:

  • can i have ur kitteh?

  • so pritty !

  • The voice sounds like a leprickon :DDDDDD i swear to god! :D

  • that's how cats act when they want to catch a bird or something. wow.

  • definitly tourette syndrom

  • this is very cute XD When a cat is on the prowl and has spotted its prey it will often make a clicking noise with its teeth. they also use a variant of this when seeing a bird through a window.

  • Cats make that noise and that movement with their jaw because it is an involuntary reation to something they want to kill. The movement simulates the chopping down motion cats do on their prey.

  • my kitten did that but then my dad broke up with step mum and i miss my cat D:

  • after a lil while it gets boring but above all its to cute to stop watching and funny cause it almost looks like its laughing!!! XD

  • after a lil while it gets boring but above all its to cute to stop watching and funny cause it almost looks like its laughing XD

  • is this cat on meth?

  • Why does its mouth move so fast like that?? It's like it's really talking! Haha

  • :)) haha.. so cute.. yep its instinct its also part of a word.. they can hear it more than we can.. their word aa--oo or mahh-ah-oo is bewilderment or just extreme curiosity.. youll hear it if a bird is in the window or with toys.. sometimes they just say the ah part thats when they are REALLY excited lol so his ah ah ah is telling you he is bewildered and curious

  • looooool my cat does the exact same thing whenever i shine his laser pen on the ceiling loooool :D

  • My cat did that mouth technique there once. It scared me. haha Cool cat though.

  • This is a natural instinctive respose when a cat sees a potential prey item, and feels they cannot attain that item. It's oftem refferred to as "lip-smacking" despite that it often makes a trilling noise. People with cats that like to bird watch through windows will often hear this response.

  • those eyes r scurrreeyy

  • hehe... Like my cat.. They do that sound when they see/hunting a fly or bird etc.

  • I'm scared of that cat! O_O

  • hurr hurr derp

  • Another agent for the Moth Empire! The world is not safe, for cats and moths have allied against the humans! Moth: Down with the bug spray! Take all the lightbulbs! Cat: Down with the bathtubs! Take all the catnip!

  • my cats do this too, usually when they do this they see something that they really want to hunt and kill, like a fly, or in my cats' case it usually is a squirrel. it is instinctual but who knows what the desire to hunt has to do with this particular behavior.

  • I've never seen a cat's mouth open so wide, or such vicious teeth. Do you leave it outside to kill the racoons?

  • @TroyJone We don't have raccoons in England. If we did she'd probably try and eat one.

  • they only do that to imitate birds to draw them closer

  • who the put my cat on mute?

  • who the fuck put my cat on mute?

  • my cat does that too when he sees birds though

  • I'm glad to know my cat isn't the only one that does this!

  • my mom speaks like those people!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hey Dude, your cat is amazing,I thing that you can "turn" the audio "off" and record something funny assuming that is the Cat talking, you know, like in the 3D animations, but this would look more real than anyone, remember Mr. ED the talking Horse ? Well, I thing you have a great opportunity to make some money with your cat...who knows...Try it !!! I'm a 3D animation programmer, I could give some ideas, E-mail me if your interested !!! ricky010754@live.com

  • its comforting to know im not the only one with a retarded cat

  • i would fall down Laughing if i saw this cat lol poor kitty

  • yeah my cat does that is name is charley when he hunts for bugs

  • my cat does the same chattering only she does it when she's going to pounce someone

  • my persion alwayz doez thet! lol

  • Shes try ing 2 pop her ears LOL

  • TRANSLATION:

Cat: Oh man my ears dont pop, gotta keep tryng

  • I love this video, love the kitty and I love your house :)

  • does the cat have a British accent too?

  • Thats a cat chatter. In the wild they imitate bugs or birds to coax them down to the ground. So it's a hunting instinct. I have been able to get a cat like this to chatter when I chatter to him.

  • I think the commentary from the british dude is funnier than the cat

  • She is doing that because she sees instinctive prey, but its beyond her reach and she can't pounce. Look it up.

  • You could add any talking voice, would be funny. I love when they do that!

  • i think some one pressed "mute" on her remote controler

  • awwwww lol, it can't meow.

  • my cat does this when the hummingbird comes to the feeder outside near the window XD

we nick-named the bird "squeaky-friend" lol

  • he is doing so because he saw an insect ))))

  • Cute and pretty cat.

  • Makes soft little squeaky noises... so cute!

  • my cat use to mutter when she would see birds out side .. and she also eats with her paws too,.

  • At first I thought that was wrong with the sound ... But realizing that he's talking .... Pretty cute ...

  • this person is irish if u listen closly

  • nothing amazing about this.. all the cats ive had have done this when looking out of the window at a bird or a fly, or a mouse, or a spider.. exactly the same way yours have.. and mine make noises too when they open their mouth a bit like eh eh eh eh eh meh eh eh eh... its common!

  • Hellah Trippy !!! LOVE the ffin expression bloody funny

  • What a good looking Kitty!

  • If that one is Tuppence I hope the other is Tommy!

  • woah there are 2! so kutesi!

  • this cat is a god. thumbs up if you agree

  • another case of mental disability

  • my cat does that when she sees birds....

  • im pre sure this cta isnt talking... sorry to say..

  • alot of cats do this.

what the cat is doing is meowing at frequencies in which our human ears cannot hear.

just like how dog whistles make noises we cant hear

  • Thats the sound of a cat hunt~ when cats hunt or spots something that they want to get, they make that noise~

My cats do that on the windowsill when they spy a squirrel out the window.

  • I think your cat is broken.

  • Cats do that when they want something and they cant reach it, so they do that kinda saying "hey you get down here i wanna check you out" lol XD

  • awesome video, and i love the way youve decorated your home, very cozy and i really love your chandalier, do you still live there? im very impressed by your home! and tuppy is really a cutie! =D happy early halloween!

  • Thats a lovely kitten. He looks like mine, but more.. active lol.

  • What a sweetheart! I love her!

  • why cant tubby meow :(

  • i think the best part about this is that it goes on for 6 minutes. :)

  • I wish my cat was quiet like this, he starts meowing at the top of his lungs at about 6AM many mornings, just because he wants attention, and even then, you pat him for a few seconds and he walks away.

  • can he even make a sound.. is something wrong with his vocal cords

  • haha i love it when cats do that. They are probably looking at a bug or mouse

  • Hmmm apparently this cat can speak predator......

  • OMG i want your cat!!!! lol

  • Its a Pred-cat you idiots lol

  • Oh the westcountry accent lol

  • Almost all domestic breeds do this chattering, or what i call jaw-jacking. There are those who think they know why cats do this, but i don't think anyone knows. ALL of the cats i have had which numbers past 30 did this, especially if watching a bird from the screen door or window.
